More than the seed kit that came with your garden can certainly be grown. Herbs typically have a four-year shelf life. Salad greens can be stored for up to 6 months. Tomato and pepper plants can produce for up to a year, with flowers lasting even longer! We have a variety of seed kits available, as well as a Grow Anything Seed Kit, so you can start growing your own seeds. There are so many possibilities! You can also mix plant varieties in your garden; just make sure to prune your plants so that each one receives enough light.
Our older model has a larger square control panel. The newer model of the AeroGarden Bounty comes with a number of improvements. The lights on the Bounty and Bounty Elite are dimmable, allowing you to change the brightness of the light on a regular basis. The type of lettuce will determine how long it takes to cook. The plants are in close proximity to one another - 3–4 inches is a good size. You can reach a maximum height of 24 inches. You could leave some seed pods empty if you have 9 seed pods to give your plants more room. They do sell lettuce seed pods if you want to grow your own lettuce. This is something I haven't tried yet. I'm growing herbs, and they've been doing well until the machine failed to notify me that they needed water, and they experienced a drought from which they never fully recovered. Mature plants use a lot of water, and I use distilled, so keep plenty on hand and check several times a week, regardless of the machine's readings. When it first starts, it appears that it does not use any water for weeks - Then, all of a sudden, there's a flood.

Over the years, I've owned a number of AeroGardens and given away even more. I had an older version of this Bounty model that I had given to a friend after a couple of years of use and was interested to see how this new model looked, and I was pleasantly surprised. It has a nicer appearance (slimmer, smoother finish) and some new features, such as the Control Panel, are quite appealing. There's a visual display that shows how much water you have, making it much easier to figure out when you need to add more. There was a touch screen for setting the time, which was more user-friendly than the old model, though it was still a little tight for my fat fingers. They have also added a Vacation Mode, which claims to use 50% less water, which should be nice for when I am on longer trips. It was still very simple to put together, which is not one of my strong suits; just connect a few pieces and you're done. I can't report on growth because it was only recently planted, but I've had great success with all of my other AeroGardens, so I don't expect any issues. After 2 weeks, here's an update: Except for the Mint, everything has already sprouted! After 3 weeks, here's an update: The Mint is sprouting, even if you can't see it. Just a tad sluggish. The rest of the project is progressing well.
I loved my AeroGarden, which I received on December 28th, and I grew my first herb garden with it. I loved it so much that I ordered all kinds of seeds and pods so I could keep a continuous Garden. Plants do well in pots after being transferred from the AeroGarden. However, the light went out in my second garden, and support isn't available by phone or email. So, while I enjoy working in the Garden, I have now invested well over $400 in one successful herb garden and have received no communication from the manufacturer to resolve the problem. br>After reading other one-star reviews, I've discovered that customer service for faulty products is a persistent problem.
This review was awarded to someone as a result of an array of emails and incorrect links listed on their website for the warranty that they claim would be provided to you within three days of ordering your aero garden.
It took a long time to set up "basil"- In less than 5 minutes, our herbs had sprouted in no "thyme. " "We've never had our own garden before, so it's been a big "dill" to watch our herbs grow. Our medium-sized kitchen will benefit from the size. It's as if it was meant to be! br>In all seriousness, having an AeroGarden has been a joy; it's amazing how simple it was to set up, maintain with the digital reminders, and watch the herbs grow quickly! These photos were taken just 11 days after installation, and we've already seen significant growth with no additional effort. We're excited to get our hands on some fresh herbs from our garden.
I currently own over a dozen units, and the NEW Aerogarden Bounty Elite is even more beautiful and superior to what I had hoped for. The new 2019 model is sleeker and slimmer, with no lost features. br>br>Let me do my best to break it down. Design: br>br> This unit's design is more contemporary in appearance. br>br>Light/Hood: br>br> The Light hood is a little more slender. The lights are raised using a simple adjustment rod. Simply loosen the knob, then pull or push the light up or down before tightening it. The Bounty Elite LED hood is a fantastic 50W LED hood. You can now dim the lights to the desired wattage at any time and then raise it back up again. br>br>Mode: Sunrise/Sunset: Sunrise/Sunset: Sunrise/Sunset: Sunrise/Sunset: Sunrise/Sunset: Sunrise/S You can now tell your unit to gradually increase the light wattage in the morning and evening. I've set mine to take 60 minutes to go from the lowest to the highest setting, which is 50 watts. This is a fantastic feature to have. br>br>Vacation Mode: br>br> Previous units had this mode. This feature has yet to be used by me. br>br>Display: br>br>Display: br>br>Display: The display is completely touch-screen and simple to operate. Deck: br>br> The unit's desk is fantastic! Because it is all one piece, there are no tiny openings for water to get in and cause calcium marks. The water fill hole is larger, so there's no risk of spillage. Bowl and Pump: br>br> The pump is housed in a special holder in the unit's bowl, from which the water flows out onto the deck. With this design, it will be difficult for roots to enter the deck. The pump is housed in a unique housing that can be easily removed for cleaning. The roots are also better contained with the new pump housing. Trellis: br>br>Trellis: br>br>Trellis: br>br> It is simple to set up the new trellis system. The oval plant holder piece is held in place by four rods that are inserted into the deck itself. There's no need to fiddle with the old one's connection to the light rod any longer. br>br>Wi-Fi br>br>Wi-Fi br>br>Wi-Fi It was very easy to install and use. br>br>This is a fantastic unit that I absolutely adore!.
Our herbs are flourishing, but the clock on the base has broken down and is now changing time weekly, daily, and even hourly. This has an impact on the pump, light, and feed/days planted counters. This is inexcusable for a herb garden that costs over a thousand dollars. $200. I contacted Aerogarden's customer service department, but received no response.
