In 2008, I decided to use this twist tie to support my tomato plants instead of twine. One thing I like about this tie is that I don't have to cut off the amount I need with a pair of scissors. The wire needs to be pulled out just enough, put through the metal clip, and pushed down to clip. It cannot be easier than this! It wasn't until I first started using this coated wire that I realized how thick and dense the plants would become. The wire was caught in time and I was able to untwist it and remove it by letting growing room remain. The bird mesh and deer netting you provided made my job of putting them up a whole The only thing I needed to do was pull out a length and clip it under the metal ring (which is not sharp), and it cut a piece right is much easier to cut the twine than it is to twist it, and I am able to attach it much more quickly and easily than the twine. The only downside is that the twine will decompose, so I am not concerned. There's no way I can get this stuff out, so I'm going to have to go and collect them. They might be saved to be used later, but I will be able to save them.
