Thank you for letting me know about your mother. I am so sorry about that. I gather you are going to give her a fitting tribute. It is my regret that I do not know how long it takes for natural cotton to degrade Despite its appearance, the twine is made from ONLY 100% cotton with no chemical additives whatsoever. Thank you, Lara
We received cotton twine for my sweetie. She uses it for roasts, etc. Jute was not something we requested or requested to receive. I really like how it works.
It's very easy. Although I have arthritis in my hands, it is no problem for me to untwist
In my opinion, Rick Wright's response is the right one. It is always a good idea to set up a test candle and then see how it works. A candle wick is also made from a certain substance, so you might need to find out what it is. We would like to hear from Angela regarding the outcome of this.

This is exactly as described, and I think it represents the best offer at this point. Cooking can be done with the cotton twine, which is undyed and 100% cotton. The twine has a 16-ply standard gauge and is undyed. As an added bonus, it is also soft and does not scratch my skin To use it for packaging and storing I want it to be fraying-proof, so that I do not need to use my hands to remove it or scrape it, as I had to do with the old Jute twine I wish I had not used in the past (but I did). Besides the obvious utility factor, at $13 for 1200 feet, you can hardly go wrong with the price tag. I have used this to store various heavy items that I will need in the future but do not want to be seen One piece of rope around either side of a rectangular box. So, I made a cross with a piece tied around each side. I was slightly concerned, given that the box weighed In spite of the fact that I was sure it would have been fine, I added one additional loop around in each direction and dragged the box around the garage until I found the right spot. There were a few nicks and scrapes on the box, but the twine, which seemed to be any cotton cooking twine, was only slightly dusty and fully intact. On the basis of my experience with it, I highly recommend it Here is one more detail It is recommended that if you are feeling unsure about whether or not you should use more, just do so. Compared to other manufacturers, you get twice as much of this, and sometimes even four times as much, for a similar price, so you can afford the extra safety, and still feel like you aren't spending money you don't have. Wish you the best of luck on your quest to find the right product. Please accept my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused. I found this product to be perfectly suited to my needs and I will buy it.
Due to the fact that I have kept some butcher's twine in my house since I started running a house in 1956, I ordered two rolls. To this day, both the twine balls I have are identical to the very first ones I purchased from the butcher across the street. It's the same quality, the same strength, and it's the same universal use. My sincere thanks go out to you. Kossow, G.
Thick cotton string that is great for knotting. We have experienced a few instances where we ran out of cooking string and the store didn't carry it, or it was incredibly thin if it did. Chicken is rotisseried a lot in our household and this thickness is perfect. There is a huge ball here. There is enough string for several years of cooking at least, and it is possible that it might even be passed down a generation since there is so much of it.
It is durable and versatile. far, I've tied a bouquet garni with it, hung homemade cheese over the sink to drain, and trussed a chicken with it. No odor is produced by this twine when used in a variety of cooking methods. The last of it has just been used, and I will definitely buy more when it runs out.
It is a favorite among cats! Then, I play with it directly with them while tethering their toys to it. I have found this works to reinforce my plants that want to fall over in my garden.
This is likely to be excellent for cooking, too.
To string the peas, I needed a string that would not break because of their small tendrils. It's one of my favorite 16-inch screens I have plied. Without special tools, I am not able to break the glass. It's good to know that we're on the right track.
So I am unable to give a reliable review as I have not yet used the string. There is plenty of substance on the ball and I am very happy with it. In addition to your advice, I'm delighted with the tips you gave me on storing twine. I will give a better report after using.
The distance of 1200 feet seems much greater than I thought. Excellent product. I am extremely satisfied with it.
