Although I do not believe they would rust, I do not believe the paper covering would last while washing them. To fold the soda can strips, I would use pipe cleaners or four-by-one soda can strips folded in half. For this case, I believe that two twisted pipe cleaners are the best. The bread loaf ties used to be saved as we used to save bread, but we have cut back on bread and needed the We use them for all kinds of things since these long and strong ties are better than bread ties. Rubber bands may not work on some items or there may be too much delicate fabric that should ever be tied loosely. I really like these.

As soon as I used up the twist ties that came with the trash bags, I had to go buy some new ones. I couldn't hold the wire because it was too thin. I have tried these out on 30-inch pipes and they work great Various trash bags are available in gallon sizes.

Use these products to make masks, NOT to apply to your face! Cello bags are the only ones that can be used with these

It is a fine twist tie with fine wire and paper covering. They should not be used for masks since they have a thin wire and are paper covered. My mistake was realizing that after they arrived, but I still know I can use them for something else so it will not be a problem. Unless I'm mistaken, this is my fault.

I have no complaints about these twist ties. There are some twist ties that can be used almost continuously that are not as strong as these. Three or four out of five for me.
