With the help of a small induction fan, I was able to keep the smell out of my 2x2' tent. On Amazon, I used a Vivosun 4" In Line Duct Fan that cost $18. The entire setup is extremely quiet. The carbon filter is perfectly pulled through by the induction fan. This filter has made my life so much easier.

Is it possible that this is a flop? This is my first carbon filter, and after hearing that it is one of the best ways to control odor, I decided to purchase one. I was initially impressed because it felt and appeared to be well-built and effective; I've been using it for almost two months and it worked like magic for the first month! I used to be able to smell almost nothing coming from the exhaust, but recently I've noticed a LOT more smell. Maybe I got a "bad" filter by chance? I connected a proper cfm fan to it, as well as a controller to slow it down when necessary. I used a 32x32x60" tent because I figured it would be plenty big enough and I hoped to get at least one harvest before buying another. However, I'm strongly urging you to investigate a different filter, perhaps a 6"? I'm not certain. I also tried putting the filter at the end of the exhaust tube recently, but it didn't seem to make much of a difference. I was hoping for the best after reading all of the positive reviews, and if it worked as well as the first month, it would easily be a 5 star review. I'll dig a little deeper into it and update my review if I find anything wrong on my end.
I've got ac infinity and terrabloom expensive filters. They have removed 90% of the heaviest of odors very well. I got rid of the a. I took this cheap brand filter out of the tent and put it in. This filter cleans the loud smell 100% I cannot believe it the tent smell is unbelievably strong right now and the tent smell is unbelievably strong right now I cannot believe it I expected this to be good enough to keep the smell at bay while I moved it to another tent, but seriously, this is the best-working filter I've ever seen, and it's only 4 inches long. My 6 inch terrabloom isn't quite as effective; don't get me wrong, the room stays odor-free with the others, and even though you can detect a faint odor from the exhaust pipe when mixed with fresh air, it still ends up being clean. However, for the price, this is the best option, and the hooks for your hanging chains are the most useful addition yet. Note: The pre-filters are cheap and fuzzy, but you can live with that if it works this well. You won't be disappointed if you give it a try, and you'll be able to grow discreetly. In a 2x2 with an 188cfm inline fan, the 4 inch works perfectly.
