It does not allow light to pass through. It is not intended to be used continuously. Shortening the light cycle is what light deprivation is all about, and it usually kicks off flowering. Most of the time, this procedure is used to ensure that the plants do not receive more than 12 hours of light or less than 12 hours of darkness. The plant is fooled into thinking it's time to flower by reducing the photoperiod (continuous light) and increasing the dark period. My (on a large roller) goes down in the evening and comes back up at 10 a.m. The white is facing out to reduce heat buildup, while the black serves as an opaque layer. Get some shade cloth (not opaque) if you want to reduce light throughout the day.
Yes, it's ideal for light-filled apartments. Regular poly from a grow store is weaker and more tear resistant.
Yes, this can be played continuously throughout the day. It has UV protection that will last for about two years before it is damaged by the sun. It will last longer than 2 years if you don't use it for the entire day.
I have a 25X45-foot swimming pool that I cover with plastic sheeting every year. Most plastic only lasts a year, but this one has lasted two years and has yet to tear; it was a little more expensive, but it was well worth it.

During the late fall and winter, I used this silage tarp to suffocate weeds and grass in an 80-foot-long garden bed. The rolls are a little heavy, but that's to be expected when dealing with a 100-foot roll of 6 mil plastic. It sat outside for over a year, exposed to the elements, and it still looks brand new. This is the tarp to buy if you need a silage tarp or a cover for your garden bed. I'm confident I'll get another 6 years out of it, so the extra money was well spent.
Unfortunately, I did not receive what I paid for; instead of a 100-foot tarp, I received a 50-foot tarp. In addition, the product I received arrived several days late. I desperately needed this product, but I was unable to use it when it arrived. This will have a significant impact on my schedule. I was forced to buy another tarp locally and was able to get what I expected for the money I paid, so I do not recommend this product. It is horrible that I had to wait so long. I'm not going to be able to relive those days in agriculture. My farm and bank account will be severely harmed as a result of this.
We were able to get a 100-foot stretch of land. In 10 minutes, I had the piece in place. It's tough and won't rip if you snag it on something.
Discouraged- PAID AN EIGHT MILLION DOLLARS FOR A SIX MILLION DOLLARS. I attempted to resolve the problem with the seller twice; both times, I was unsuccessful. The first justification was that they had miscalculated the price. The second reason was that when selling on Amazon, they had to account for shipping costs. As a result, they added another 225 dollars to my bill. It's a flurry of activity. My shipping costs are covered by my Amazon Prime membership- When they use someone else's platform, they can expect to be paid less for their product. Worst of all, management contacted me and suggested that I return it and purchase the product directly from them. What makes you think I'd do something like that? The prices are the same in all of the local grow shops. I was willing to work with 6mil (despite the fact that no one else would) for a partial refund - Save your money; the hassle isn't worth it.
I'd like to start a large garden where I can eat and sell my produce.
Because I've only recently received this item, I'd like to express my gratitude to you. I can't speak to its durability, value for money, or whether it will perform as advertised because I didn't install it.
Everything is in order. There is no bleed through of light. It's perfect for use indoors. You get a lot of bang for your buck when you buy this item. I'll buy it again without a doubt. It's also effective on leaking walls and ceilings.
It easily snaged and ripped the first time I used it. It then completely melted together after being left on the ground beside the greenhouse for 24 hours in 80 degree heat, rendering it useless. This tarp isn't something you should buy!.
