I've been using this product since 2017 (mostly in a greenhouse, but it has a lot of other applications) and I live in San Antonio, Texas. I was extremely pleased with the outcome. It's sweltering outside. I'm not sure how long it will be before I have to replace the entire greenhouse film (I have it double wrapped). I've only had to patch a few times so far, and it's worked out great. Clear Duck Brand All Weather Indoor/Outdoor Repair Tape 88- 100 x 100 x 100 x 100 x 100 x 100 x 100 I patch (equipment punctures, animal gouges and scratches, and other mishaps) with Feet, Single Roll, 281230.
The words "This Side Down" were written on the plastic we received. We double-checked these instructions on the Farm Plastic Supply website. When you're standing outside the greenhouse, the words should face the soil, so they read backwards.
UV inhibitors in low-density polyetylene UV life of four years.
It can be 40 feet wide by 25 feet long OR 25 feet wide by 40 feet long, depending on how you face the plastic! It's a fantastic achievement!

A faulty plastic film was sent to me. The diameter of the hole is approximately 7 inches. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to use it because the temperature in my greenhouse was dropping and I needed to cover it immediately. I had not anticipated receiving a defective item from Amazon.
Very long lasting! br>br>Update: br>br>Recommendation: br>br> Our greenhouse's roof has been in place for two years, and the sides have been in place for one and a half years. This is incredible stuff. This has withstood the harsh winds and rains of south Texas, including Hurricane Hanna. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat! br>br>We've had this on the roof of our DIY greenhouse for about three years and it's still going strong. I'm not sure if the product they sell today is the same as the one I bought years ago, but I'm hoping it is!.
The size of a pea! This plastic was unaffected by 60 mph winds and pea-sized hail in West Texas. A hail piece left one small indentation on the plastic, but it did not pierce it. This item is extremely durable. I'm not sure how long it would last after a hailstorm the size of a dime.
I measured the product and found it to be different from what they had advertised. It was only 10 feet long. The item is well-made in its own right. Due to a SHORT supply, the rest of the greenhouse will need to be covered in a different type of plastic.
There are holes and stretch marks on the garment. Furthermore, the 6-foot tall I don't see how the ply plastic will protect my produce because it's so thin. I'd rather buy the 6ply visqueen from my neighborhood hardware store. This item is also overpriced.
Q is a product. "Does the plastic have an outside and an inside?" says A. If that's the case, how can I tell if I've positioned it properly? "br>The seller, Farm Plastic Supply, responded and stated that no special orientation is required. There are no differences between the two sides. br>br>I set it up with that in mind. After putting it on, I noticed that INSIDE was printed on the plastic and that I had installed it incorrectly, so I had to take it off and put it back on. It was a nightmare. The plastic punctured in a few places when I did it a second time. Another issue I've noticed is that it's not as clear or translucent as the photos suggest, and there's a hazy, powdery film that flakes off. It's difficult to explain, so I've included pictures. I'm returning the item and trying a different brand; overall, I'm disappointed.
A high-quality plastic film that is resistant to sun and UV rays. I bought 6mil film from a big-box store before buying this. hardware store in a cardboard box After a few months, the big-ticket item is finally available. The sun had obliterated all of the plastic from the grocery store. This Farm Plastic Supply plastic film has been sitting in the sun for about 6 months and is still in good condition. This is something I would recommend for greenhouses and construction projects where seeing through the plastic is important. It works well as a clear tarp as well. I would recommend one of the many UV inhibited tarps for very long-term covering where a clear material isn't required. If you plan to use the film for four years or less, it will be much less expensive and lighter than a tarp.
It's been fantastic at keeping the pond at a comfortable temperature. Even though the winter has been mild, the plants have not died back for the winter. Annuals are still growing. br> We've had two wind storms, one of which reached speeds of nearly 40 miles per hour. This product was a success. An ice storm hit us this week. Throughout the night, trees around the pond broke, fell, and dropped branches on the greenhouse. These massive ice chunks began to crash down as the sun rose. We spent hours watching them and branches bounce off the greenhouse plastic, and my plastic corrugated patio roof was shattered in several places. After being pummeled, this product only had a few small holes. I'm truly blown away and thankful. I'm not sure how my koi fish would have fared in the presence of branches, ice, and extreme cold.
