PRODUCT- Glass bell cloches, popular during the Victorian era, were used to make mini-greenhouses that let light in to warm the soil in the spring and protect plants from pests and harsh weather.

MATERIALS- Made of clear, long-lasting PVC with vents on top to keep you cool on hot days. Steel stakes are included in the set of three to keep them in place on the ground.

MEASUREMENTS: 13" dia. x 12" high

Are there any difficult-to-remove stickers included with this?

There were no stickers on my copy. They're also effective. At least three light frosts were avoided by my tomatoes.

Is this big enough to fit in a 5-gallon bucket?

It slides over about 1/2 to 3/4 inch on a Lowes blue five gallon bucket that I tried it on. It's almost as if it's made for you. The first 1/2 to 3/4 inch of the Cloche's diameter (inside measurement) is right around 12 inches.

Are these transparent, translucent, or nearly opaque?

clear. They become opaque when moisture accumulates within them.

Is it the internal diameter or the overall diameter that is 13"?

Seedlings or rooting cuttings of any size can be started in this pot

These are the ideal size for rooting cuttings in garden soil that has already been prepared. Cuttings will not dry out or become too wet if the top is ventilated in a variety of ways.

The tabs that hold the humidity control disc in place easily break off

The humidity controller is easily dismantled. Two of the tabs were on the bottom of the box when I first opened it. They're flimsy tabs, to say the least. The tabs break off simply by separating the cloches. When this occurs, the disc that opens will move. Vents that are closed are no longer functional. Gardeners Supply's quality isn't what I'd expect.
