sure, sure, sure. The heavy duty hem and grommets are a must to keep the shape, so make sure you get the right size. The fabric doesn't have any sort of memory.
Hello, the shade panel is 60% UV sunblocking.
Yes, you can cut it, but you should use thermal seam tape to reinforce the cut edge to keep the weave from unraveling. Alternatively, fold the edge over and sew it. On the cut side, you'll also need to install new tie eyes.
No way! This is for sun protection. There is no protection from ice falling from the sky.

I'm really happy with the Agfabric 60% Greenhouse Shade Cloth Cover. I bought the 8' x 12" size and used it to protect some of my more delicate plants in my small nursery. It's well-made, and I'm especially impressed with the grommeted webbing on the outside; the Agfabric outperforms some of its competitors. I'm going to order something else in a different size because their prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. I also like the bungee cords that come with it. (Pictures are included. ).
We recently had a 12-day period in Las Vegas where daytime temperatures ranged from 115 to 130 degrees Fahrenheit. Each day, 118. In the ground, my plants were on fire. br>br>When I draped this wonderful product over my 20-foot-long planter, it kept them safe from further damage. Unfortunately, there isn't much that can be done about the extreme heat, but at the very least, I was able to provide some relief. br>br>One of the best features of this product is that it has a weave that allows air to flow through it without overheating the plants. It's also heavy enough to stay put rather than billowing up and blowing away. br>br>If this product works in Las Vegas, I'm confident it'll work elsewhere - Unless you're in Arizona, where it's possible. I'm not serious.
The peas in our garden were threatened by an early hot spell, so I went looking for a shade tarp to protect them from the sun for the time being. This appears to be the most suitable option. Winds are not a problem because the grommets are strong. The fabric resembles a Harbor Freight tarp that has been shredded to allow rain and light to pass through. I'm not criticizing it; I'm simply attempting to describe the plastiyc texture. It's far superior to the gauzy alternatives, in my opinion.
I gave it two stars because the seller responds quickly. br>However, kotap is the way to go if you want something that will last. I thought this would be a good substitute for Kotap because they didn't have the size I needed, but it isn't even close to the quality. This tarp resembles a very thin sheet of plastic. I wanted to return it, but doing so would have cost me the two-day shipping I had paid for. So I'm going to try it somewhere else, but I should have returned it the first time. br> I decided to order a smaller kotap anyway. It's a little shorter than I had hoped, but it'll do the trick, and I know it'll provide plenty of shade.
This was placed on top of my chicken coop to keep the chickens safe from intruders as well as the sun. It's extremely long-lasting, and I've had no problems with it. It was very simple to set up, and I expect to keep it for a long time; I will use it for future projects as needed.
This sturdy pro quality shade cloth is made by Agfabric 60% Greenhouse Shade Cloth. br>We have wacky weather in this part of the Texas Hill Country, and it can change on a dime. br>I made my own PVC frame, anchored it down, and this cloth holds up to the winds and the occasional good decent thunderstorm.
The fabric is sturdy, and the grommets are evenly spaced, making it simple to secure the cloth to my frame. I've had it for a few months and it's held up admirably in every wind and rainstorm. My only complaint is that the shade cloth comes with bungees, but there aren't enough for each grommet. Why? Overall, an excellent product at a low cost!.
My main concern with this shade fabric was whether or not it would withstand the elements. I've had it for a month and it's survived a 90-degree beating sun as well as two rainstorms, one of which had significant wind. This shade cloth is unquestionably a good buy.
