The boxes are labeled 1 of 4, 2 of 4, and so on, and each one has a picture depicting what is inside. We didn't open all of the boxes at once; instead, we started with box 1, removed the contents, and put the pieces back together before moving on to the next box. We're crossing our fingers that we didn't get to box 3 or 4 and find a problem or missing parts. Over here, I'm living in peril. Hahaa! It was simple to assemble. br>br> Because of some of the previous reviews, I expected to have issues. There were a few holes that didn't line up perfectly on two pieces of an armless section (box 3, I believe) and one bolt that wasn't threaded correctly. Those were the only problems we had during the assembly process. We were able to work around the minor problems. Things started to fall into place quite quickly. Although there are a lot of holes to line up and screws to tighten, we had no major issues. It took me less than two hours to put everything together. br>br>I like the way it appears. It's the ideal size for my deck, under my Madaga gazebo, which measures 10x10 feet. I'm not sure how tall the previous reviewer (who claimed that this set is sized for children) is, but I don't have any complaints in that regard. The dimensions are listed in the product description; I didn't measure it after assembly, but it appears to be in line with what was stated and how I expected it to be. My husband, who stands at 6 feet tall, was able to sit comfortably. He didn't have his knees all the way up in his face. 5'6" is my height. I didn't measure or check the height of my next-door neighbor, but the two of us were a good fit. br>br>I agree with a previous reviewer's assessment of the back cushions. Two Velcro strips on the bottom/seat cushions help keep them in place and prevent them from sliding around. There is nothing on the back cushions. When the wind blows and no one is seated on the furniture, they are prone to tipping over. Since putting it together, I haven't had any bad weather or strong winds, but the cushions are fairly light. It would be even better if they had Velcro or some other means of attachment to the frame. br>br>I like that the set includes a cover, which is kept in its own bag. I haven't yet taken it out of the box or hung it over the furniture. That's something I should probably do just to make sure it fits. I plan to use it only if there is a storm or rainy weather forecast this summer, or if we are going to be away from home for an extended period of time; I do not intend to cover it up on a regular basis. For the winter, I intend to bring the cushions inside and cover the frame with the cover. br>5/9 UPDATE: Despite the fact that it rained heavily throughout the night, I did not cover the furniture. The cushions had a lot of water on them, but it beaded up on the fabric and rolled off easily. br>br>It looks great on my deck, and I'm hoping it will last for a long time. After using it for the entire season, I plan to revisit my review and update it.

The overall tone of the previous reviews led me to believe that, once the assembly issues were resolved, this would be a good product. I made the decision to place an order, and the following is my account of the process. br>SHIPPING - The delivery went without a hitch. A total of five or six large boxes arrived, all in good working order. (An illustration is included. ) Carrying and moving the shipped boxes was not a problem because they were not overly large or heavy. br>UNBOXING - Unpacking was a breeze. All of the items are kept in plastic bags and labeled with letters (for example, A, B, and C). It's worth noting that some pieces appear to be the same but have different labels. I recommend, and I did, laying them all out on the floor, separated by individual piece into groups that appear to be identical. Then divide parts by letter within each of those groups. This will make it easier for you to put it together later using the instructions provided. br>INSTRUMENTATION - The instructions were not difficult for me; they could have been a little clearer, but they were not terrible. It will be easier if you organize your pieces in the manner described above. If you're organized with part positioning and assembly, you can use common sense to make up for what the instructions don't say. It eventually devolves into a part-elimination process and becomes common sense. br>INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY - OK, this is where the majority of people have had problems, and based on my own experience, I have to agree. The fact that some of the pieces did not line up properly was the most frustrating aspect for me. That is, the screw holes on one piece were about 1/2" or 1" off from the screw holes on another piece with which it was supposed to be connected. This is extremely aggravating because it is a simple manufacturing flaw. You can't just bend your way out of the problem by trying to make things align and fit because the pieces you need to screw together are sturdy and solid enough. I would say that about 90% of all holes align well, but it is an absolute nightmare for the remaining 2010% holes. I found a workaround by purchasing larger screws and installing them at an angle, or simply leaving the screws unscrewed. You are given a small power drill to assist you with the screwing, but it is completely useless. Not because the power drill is ineffective (it is), but because the screw and screw holes are placed in such a way that you don't have enough room or maneuverability to use one. With the manual L key tool provided, you will have to do almost everything by hand. There's no avoiding it now. You'll need to use the L-bracket to put this together properly. Almost every screw requires a key, and even then it's difficult due to the screw holes' placement (see photo). This is what takes up the majority of the time; I assembled this myself, and I consider myself to be an intelligent and handy person, and it took me 5 hours, not because I was stumped for what to do, but because of the time it took to manually and by hand screw it all together while dealing with some alignment issues. Can you overcome this and complete it? YES. Is it so aggravating that some people might give up? OTHER CONCERNS - YESbr> I received a couple of cushioned seats that were missing the Velcro that attaches the cushion to the wicker, so I contacted Suncrown and they promptly sent me replacement cushion covers. I had a few more questions for which I received no responses. There appears to be a language barrier as well as a communication problem with the manufacturer/seller. They're difficult to understand, and I'm sure they don't fully comprehend our questions. br>I was also struck by how scuffed and scratched some of the wicker pieces appeared to be. Not all of them, but roughly half of them. Not a big deal, but they didn't look brand new right out of the box, like they'd been rubbing against something for a long time. br>Another issue was that many of the screws that came with the kit broke. They started to crack as I tightened them. It was necessary for me to obtain my own screws. If you're having the same problem, buy screws that are about 1/2 inch longer to compensate for any alignment issues. br>FINAL RESULT - Overall, the product looks and feels good after it has been put together. Once you've finished the assembly battle, you'll feel as if you've accomplished something. But it's satisfying to see that the product you toiled over for a couple of hours has turned into a nice-looking, sturdy item. Is it worth the $750? Yes, but not by a long shot. It would be a good deal if there were no assembly issues and this was a point-and-click type of assembly, but it's just OK because of the headaches and issues that come with it. br>PROFESSIONALS' - The finished product resembles the image exactly. Quality is acceptable (but not exceptional). Cons - In line with the price. br>PROS - In line with the price. br>CONS - In line with the price. Assembly. Overall, if you decide to buy this and complete the assembly challenge and win, you will be rewarded with a good-looking outdoor furniture set of reasonable quality. Thank you for your interest. br>br>5/1/2018 UPDATE - Because of the following, I've decided to raise my rating from three to four stars: br>Today, I received a call from a SunCrown representative who spoke with me for about 20 minutes about the issues and difficulties I had with assembly. He was fluent in English and genuinely interested in my concerns in order to improve the product and customer experience in the future. SunCrown is a young company, he said, that is constantly looking to improve their product and satisfy their customers, but that like any young company, it is going through growing pains. He assured me that my feedback, as well as that of others here, was being tracked and that it was being used to improve the product and experience. Having said that, I admire your effort, courtesy, and desire to improve. After assembly, the end result is a very nice Furniture set, as I previously stated. And it makes me happy. Suncrown will be a 5-star product if they can improve on the assembly issues. Best of luck to everyone!.

I was a little concerned about this set because it was so low-cost, but it appears to be well-made! The cover is attractive and well-fitting. We switched out the throw pillows for teal, which I prefer to red. The glides on the sofa were also replaced with rubber (from Home Depot) because the ones that came with it slid on our composite deck. It took some time to put this together, but I was able to do it in an afternoon without my husband's help. As a result, it should be manageable by anyone.

When it comes to replacing broken glass, the seller's response is excellent. After a week and a half, I finally got box 4/4. When I opened it two weeks later, I discovered that the glass was broken. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Suncrown contacted me via email to inform me of the broken glass and promised to send me a replacement as soon as it became available. br>Assembly was completed in a few hours with only one trip to Home Depot for replacement screws after one of the bolt sockets broke and I had to drill it through. Set appears to be in good condition. br> I'm hoping it will withstand the elements and not fall apart in a few years, but based on the material quality, I doubt it will. The only way to find out is to wait. What I didn't like was the lack of support for the back pillows. They'll take off from our deck if there's even a slight breeze. br>Newsflash - Following contact with the seller regarding a broken table glass, a replacement was sent in the form of the entire box 4. Glass was in good condition when the box arrived. I am pleased with the seller's response and the manner in which they handled the situation. br>After a few months and a few rainstorms, the set is starting to take shape. It dries in a flash. It's a hit with the kids, who spend the majority of their time playing table games on it with their neighbors.
