This sofa works well both indoors and out.
My cushions have been in the rain; I'd say the cover is absorbent, but the foam isn't, so they dry quickly once the sun (desert) shines. After drying, they appear to be unaffected.

My partner is snoozing soundly on the couch. Although the cushions are firm and the bed is narrower than a twin, it is preferable to sleeping on an air mattress.

Christopher Knight furnished us with two sofas and four chairs, which we adore. They were simple to assemble and appear to be similar to outdoor furniture we saw in other stores. 4 times the cost, plus a - When you first sit down, the cushions are firm. I got the sofa a few days ago. I was dissatisfied with the way it was packaged. A large, heavy item like this should be double-boxed and padded heavily. It came in a flimsy box with very thin styrofoam padding and bubble wrap instead. The box was ripped during shipping, and the aluminum frame was dented and bent as a result. I considered returning it, but the dents were in the back, and repacking it for return would have taken too much time, so I decided to live with it. I was able to put the item together with the help of a sledge hammer. I'm hoping the frame doesn't break as a result of the damage. br>br>The next disappointment was the frame's finish. The frame is described as anodized aluminum in the description, but it is clearly not. It's actually brushed aluminum, which doesn't weather as well as anodized aluminum and feels a lot rougher. It would have been nicer if the aluminum had been polished. I'm hoping it gets better as time goes on. Otherwise, I might have to sand it down and repaint it. The cushions appear to be quite durable. br>br> The foam is firm and the fabric is thick. We're going to add some extra padding because they're a little too firm. Hopefully, with time, they will soften. The back cushions are attached to the bottom cushions with velcro strips, which is a nice unexpected touch. This will aid in the organization of everything. br>br>Overall, I'm not pleased with the product. We'll be able to get by with it, but it'll take some effort. I wish I'd bought something else instead.
it is a waste of time To assemble the sofa, the end panels do not align properly. A new item was sent by Amazon. The same problem exists. There are now TWO defective sofas that must be returned. It is a waste of time.
We were ecstatic to put our sofa together after waiting three weeks for it. But no way, no how, it's not going to happen. It's just that the pieces aren't aligned correctly. The screw holes are a few millimeters out of alignment. 25 - Because the sides are only 5 inches wide, there is no way to secure them to the loveseat base with screws. The high cost of these sets is not justified. The cushions on the couch are firm and water-resistant. To go with it, I ordered four chairs. They have yet to arrive.
