No, it is a pipe thread, not a hose thread item.

A PVC sheet can be heated to 140F (60C) and maintained for more than a year. While not recommended for hot water use, it is something you should consider. In the case of hot water or cold water applications involving plastic, CPVC is required.

Is it worth a 1/2 male pipe?

A 1/2 FPT thread x thread coupling of this size is provided. It will require about 1/2 inches of male thread to fix the fitting.

Do you get a full half you 1/2 " female couplings? Having a shorter distance allows us to be more accurate. ?

A $5 cost only resulted in one receipt for this product. The following statistic is 69: 69. In my mind, that price was for 5 Amazon Prime members. The Home Depot has 20 packs for $8. 90 in stock. I am quarantined, so I won't drive to the nearest drive up location (in a local mall) to pick up the package that I missed.

Getting to the right place means ignoring the line in the middle

We molded one piece of this. Two nuts don't have the middle nut and are NOT connected. It is NOT possible to twist in one direction independently. Since it is made up of only one piece, twisting it into place is very difficult. the connection of similar looking nuts and bolts).

An easy and convenient way to use

When I recently saw a utube video, I found out how to extend a out-of-ground sprinkler to spray over plants growing taller in flower beds after watching it. Providing an easy fix with these couplers, extenders, and other accessories. Tape for plumbers is great also!!.

With the help of risers, it extends our sprinklers well

Although most of the plants grew from last year, there were a few we had that were too small. This resulted in an extension of the height of our yard by erecting couplers and risers. It does exactly what it is supposed to.

They were delivered as quickly as they were ordered. Because these devices kept me from digging up the entire route to the pipe, I didn't have to go all the way down.
