Questions & Answers
Each strap has a tensile strength of 2800.
The hooks are already attached to them.
To get over the branch, you'll need a long rope and some weight to swing it over. Connect the strap to the rope, and you're done.
These Rhino Straps have been used to secure a large tree limb. It's been a year since the straps were installed. There is no squeaking from the straps. Ever!

It snapped at the point where it wraps around the tree: I'm disappointed in this once-in-a-lifetime product, and my poor child is terrified. I'm glad she didn't sustain more serious injuries.
The straps are rated at 2800 pounds each, but they don't seem to be able to flex under load. My mid- Swinging is a stress reliever for my teen daughter, especially when she is socially isolated. At the end of March, I used these straps to hang a swing from our tree. My daughter (who weighs about 110 pounds) swings a couple of times a day for 15 minutes. Each time, she had to wait 45 minutes, and today one of the straps snapped, sending her crashing to the ground. She doesn't appear to have any broken bones, which is a relief. I don't think these straps are suitable for what an average-sized teen would use them for.
Long! The straps are fantastic. We have them on our patio trellis and a swing set that we purchased in the backyard. They're nice and long, allowing us to hang the swing in a variety of ways. The straps appear to be extremely well constructed, and the carabiners appear to be extremely durable. There is no doubt in our minds that these are safe. One of the problems with these types of straps is that it's difficult to customize the exact height at which you hang something because you're reliant on the thickness of the post/branch you're hanging it from (e. g. , a tree branch). If the branch's circumference is one foot, you can only adjust it in one-foot increments) give or take. However, as I previously stated, this is a problem with all straps and ropes in general. They could design around it, but it would almost certainly raise the price of the straps. I considered giving it a four-star rating because of the price (it could be a little less expensive), but I believe it is a good enough product to justify the higher price.
I wish I had gone back and read the reviews that came after mine, like the one about the little girl who broke her wrist and sprained her ankle when the strap snapped. That might have helped me avoid what happened the other day: The straps snapped at the very top, by a tree branch, and the kids fell to the ground while playing on the nest swing with company. Thank God, they were barely swinging at the time and escaped with minor injuries. Given the number of complaints and injuries in the comments section, this company should be embarrassed for not recalling these straps! br>br>I'm grateful that my straps lasted as long as they did, but this should never have happened given their weight rating and guarantee!.
High- tree straps of excellent quality These are extremely long, which is ideal for tall limbs, but they can also be doubled up to 5 feet for shorter limbs!.
These were simple to put together and appear to be durable. Because I used a fairly thick limb, I was able to get the swing 12 inches off the ground after wrapping it three times. With one more wrap, it would have reached a height of at least 3 feet. I wish I could have gone up another 6 inches in height. 12 inches would be ideal, but this isn't the case. Although the hardware appears to be secure, I'll be checking it on a regular basis to ensure that it continues to function properly.
It was purchased in May of this year and I used it for one summer. It had frayed a little by the time fall/winter 2019 rolled around. However, I did not consider taking a photograph or posting it at the time. We hung the swing this year in May 2020, and the strap has frayed even more in just a few weeks, and I'm afraid it will fall apart at any moment (see photo)! It is only used by my 11 and 8-year-old children, and their combined weight is less than 150 pounds. I had high hopes for this, and I was sorely disappointed. I'd like my money back!.
I purchased the tree swing straps to hang a 40" Webbed Nest Swing from a 60-foot oak tree. So far, the product's quality has proven to be strong enough to support two people weighing 350 pounds (2 adults). As a parent, I'm concerned about my children's safety, so I needed a high-quality strap with a reliable carabiner. This is exactly what I needed. So far, there hasn't been any rubbing, fraying, or other signs of wear. I would advise you to do the same if you are using this product. We cleared the tree of loose branches for safety reasons and hung the swing from a 9" diameter branch close to the trunk (at least 100 year old tree). It's simple to use, but you may need to wrap the straps a few times to get the right length. Before removing the second unused one, I put both up to see what people thought (one time up on the ladder). It was removed with the help of a pole hook. I would strongly suggest it.
