With 15 loops per strap, these are well-designed to fit around any tree (up to 8 feet in diameter). Despite being made of heavy-duty polyester webbing (similar to seat belt material), they only weigh a little over 1/2 pound and come in a convenient bag for storage or transportation. In just a few minutes, we had the hammock set up on the straps, and the straps stayed in place all night. br>br>Amazon sells a lot of hammock straps, but if you want strong, long-lasting, and highly adjustable straps, I recommend these.
I've been hammocking for a while and have experimented with a variety of accessories. The quality of this product astounded me; there was not a single stray stitch. These straps are made of a non-stretch material that is triple stitched for added durability. Each of the Pro Venture straps is eleven feet long (the others are only ten). This extra length ensures that enough material is available to be used between trees that are far away or have a large diameter. Two carabiners were included as a bonus, as well as instructions for proper use and a stuff sack. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and strongly recommend Pro Venture products.
I bought these after hearing good things about them and am very pleased with them. They're incredibly simple to work with. Three of us are anchored to one tree, as you can see from the photos. We were able to enjoy hammocking as a family without being in each other's space because the other anchor trees are at varying distances.
I made a replacement for the crazy/dumb knot- My Hennessy Hammock was used as a base for the suspension. The straps are easy to adjust and versatile. br>My only criticism is that the lengths of the two straps are not identical. They're within a millimeter of each other. I'm very happy with my decision.

I was racking my brains about how to hang some inexpensive hammocks I had purchased for my backyard; I had a hammock stand, but it wasn't doing the job and wasn't large enough for my new hammocks. I went to REI to get some webbing and carabiners for a reasonable price. To my surprise, the supplies to hang the hammocks were going to cost me more than the hammocks themselves. So I went to our Amazon to see if there were any other options. I was able to purchase two hammock hanging kits for less than a third of the price, allowing me to hang the hammocks from palm trees in my backyard.
