I'm a climber, so they're made of climbing strap. The straps will be able to hold a lot more than just the two of you. On the straps, it's likely to be 3000 lbs. My main concern is the hammock itself. The majority of them have a rating of 400 or higher. For double, 500 pounds is required. And I speak from experience because I hammock camp on multi-day treks for the majority of the year. For a single person, a double hammock is ideal. It will be used as a chair by two of you. And I'm writing this from an altitude of 8400 feet, where I'm currently sleeping in my hammock. I hope this has been of assistance.

You'll be able to tell. Tree Trunk Straps for the Grand Trunk Hammock: br>br>Grand Trunk has won me over. I own a few of their hammocks, and they're fantastic! I occasionally hang out on planes, and it can get dark in there, so I wanted orange straps to help the crews see me. It appears that Grand Trunk is the only company that produces them. I only looked for 20 minutes, but when I came across the Grand Trunk ones, I pretty much gave up. br>br>To be honest, they're just like everyone else's straps these days, except they're orange! I'm not sure they're that different from the majority of what's out there, but if they are, I'm sure they've improved them in some way. Go GT! Buy with confidence. br>br>.

Excellent product! I've tried a few different brands of suspension straps, but these are by far the best; they're longer than any other brand and have a lot more loops, allowing you to fine-tune your setup to do exactly what you want

A second set of straps has been added. The kids adore how simple these straps are to use. Other children will not confuse their straps with the bird straps, and my children will not lose their straps by "accident. " I'm going to go out and get a set.
