It was very simple to put together. The instructions are detailed, easy to understand, and include illustrations. It comes with a wrench that can be used to tighten the lugs; no additional tools are required. The steel rods are threaded into the swing fabric's outside edge, with one end of each rod sliding into the other's end. So, before threading the rods, double-check that the ends are aligned so that the smaller-diameter end goes into the end of the next rod, which is slightly larger-diameter. The fabric is durable and porous, allowing water to drain. As you can see in the photos, all of the materials are high-quality and durable. We also purchased the Tree Swing Straps, which include a spinner. Included is a photograph. We bought this swing for our grandchildren to use when they come to visit, and we have the perfect Red Maple tree branch to hang it from. I'm looking forward to having a good time. These Tree Swing Straps were delivered and installed for my grandkids' tree swing platform. It has plenty of room for all three of them. These are of excellent quality, and hanging them from the tree was a breeze. The instructions were easy to follow, and the swing came with all of the necessary hardware. I'll buy this brand again if I need another one; I've only had them for a short time, but I expect them to last.
These are fantastic straps! It's simple to take off and replace the swing. I feel pretty safe suspending a swing from a tree and sending my kids soaring on it because it's made of braided nylon, which can also be used to tow vehicles. I also like how the design allows the tree branch to grow naturally without being cut off.
This rope is excellent, but it will need to be replaced every two summers. My swing was only good for two summers before it ripped while my daughter was swinging high on it. Now I have to take her to the doctor for X-rays. She probably broke her butt because of the rays because she's in pain. The metal clip was ripped out of the rope.
