DAUGHTER has sustained an injury. This swing strap is for a large disc swing that we ordered. We patiently awaited the arrival of spring weather before securing the strap to our tree and attaching the swing to it. That was TWO (2) DAYS AGO (4/8/2017). About an hour ago, while my husband was pushing our 11-year-old special-needs daughter on it, down came baby-- Everything is included, including the cradle and the strap. As she hit the ground, she screamed bloody murder. This strap is extremely hazardous and flaw-ridden! The back of our daughter is bruised and swollen. We gave her Advil and are currently icing her back because she can walk. I photographed the frayed strap as well as the dangling threads. I'm a quilter, and my thread and stitching are far superior to this! This is completely unacceptable!.

On May 1, 2020, I was given straps and training. I attached a single board tree swing to one of the straps I hung from a backyard tree. My 10-year-old daughter was thrown several feet when it snapped on June 2, 2020. It was terrifying, but I chalked it up to a freak occurrence. Then there was this evening, which was two nights later. She was lying on a green plastic disk suspended from a tree by two straps. This one had also snapped. I photographed the frayed ends of the remaining straps on both trees. As you can see, the tree is damaged, despite the fact that it was designed to support 2500 pounds. It took 31 days to complete. I'd like my money back in its entirety.

I completely misunderstood the very clear description, which stated that it was a SINGLE strap rather than a double. I could have gotten the set (which was exactly what we needed) for an extra $8. So much the better. Since I ordered 4 products, there was also a 15% discount that I also missed because I didn t read everything- Again, it was my fault. br>br>I contacted Royal Oak (who sent me the funniest email after I purchased the item) and explained the situation as well as my stupidity. They agreed to send me the four straps I needed at the same price they would have charged me had I not misread and made such a fool of myself. Royal Oak and I were both to blame. To put it another way, They treated me as if I were a king or queen. NOT TO BE FORGOTTEN. )br>br>NOT TO BE FORGOTTEN. For two of our swings, we've been using the four Royal Oak straps, and they've been fantastic. They are extremely powerful and do not move. Sweet, active, tree-loving outdoors living granddaughter, "I want a big swing in the trees for Christmas," me "I will make that happen,"br>br>Mixed review here because I probably didn't envision how much of the length would wrap around the big oak tree limb. br>br>The limb was about 12 feet off the ground, and I imagined that 8 plus 4 feet from the tree swing would be ideal, but the limb we were hanging from, a sturdy limb, took up nearly the entire length. Fortunately, we had a length of strong rope on hand, as well as strong gorilla tape-reinforced knots. br>br>I'm still confident that the wide webbing will protect the tree in the long run, so I'm satisfied with our results. My granddaughter adores it and refuses to leave when she comes to visit, so it's a win-win situation.

The color of the carabiner has faded. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. When the quoted weight is the strap but the weaker carabiner is in the critical path, I believe the weight ratings are a little confusing. br>br>The carabiner is already discolored, which is a little concerning, but the single strap is sufficient to hold my three-year-old, my wife, and myself.

For our saucer swing, it works perfectly. Allows us to secure the swing to a higher, 21-foot-high branch, greatly improving the swinging experience. The strap is tough, but it's also simple to use. The swivel is simple, consisting of a stainless steel nut and bolt connecting two D rings, but the nut is welded to the bolt to prevent loosening, and the strap does not twist excessively under normal use. If you expect a lot of twisting and spinning, you should invest in a better swivel to protect the strap.

We chose to hang our swing using the swivel hardware rather than the strap because hubby wanted to be able to take it down if he wanted to, and the tree limb we wanted to hang it on was too high for removal. Is there a chance we'll be able to put this to good use in the future? for it. We used a rope that was easy to tie and untie. If you don't want to climb up and take it down someday, this is a great option. The spinning swing is a big hit with the grandchildren!.

I bought a tire swing and was having trouble getting my kids to play on it. This was a brilliant idea. I simply followed the directions and attached the strap to my swing set, and there you have it! Since I put it up, they've been spinning away without a hitch. It's very strong, and it's held up to 320 pounds of weight so far. A fantastic purchase!.
