Questions & Answers
No, this cover is for a rectangular table with six chairs; however, I believe an oval table cover is available.
It would most likely be a close fit.

However, when I used it to cover my patio's wood table and chairs, the water had seeped through the cover and onto my wood furniture the next morning after a rainy day. If you know anything about wood, you're aware that getting it wet and leaving it wet is a bad idea. I even made a point of removing the cover first thing the next morning to allow it to dry. The furniture, however, still had water on it. I don't see how this cover could be used as a winter cover for furniture. It is not water resistant. Perhaps "resistant" to water.
This cover had a lot of potential when it was first released. I did pretty well for the first month or so. It was going to rain, and it was going to rain for the rest of the week. It was nice and dry when I uncovered the outdoor furniture at the end of the day. However, when I opened it up after the second month, there were a few drops of water on it. When I uncovered the furniture, I assumed that some of the moisture from the outside had spilled onto it. Then there were heavy rains, and everything was soaked when I removed the cover. I used it for a while, but no longer. Everything was wet when I pulled back the cover after it hadn't rained in over a week. The cushions have already been removed to avoid mildew, but everything else is soaked. I'm getting rid of it and replacing it with something else.
The material is of excellent quality, and it easily repels rain and sleet. We live in an area with strong winds, and these covers had sturdy straps and clips to keep them in place. We looked at big box stores and their covers were thin and flimsy with no clips or tie downs, so I can't say enough about the value for the money we paid. This was an excellent purchase and product.
In San Diego, where the sun shines every day, we use our cover to protect our outdoor furniture. About a year after purchase, the material started to disintegrate.
We just got this, and it's a nice product: heavy, lined, and appealing to the eye. However, the scale is incorrect. At the very least, the photo shows that the square should be large enough to cover a table AND chairs, but even with a lot of extra space between the table and chairs, it wasn't enough. Not by a long shot. I returned the one I bought and will order it again in a much larger size (due to the high quality of the material and construction).
I bought a cover for it at the same time, but after only one season of use, it was ripped to shreds. br>When I received this Vailge Waterproof Furniture Cover, I was pleasantly surprised at how durable it is. It's a perfect match for my outfit. When the Gardners use the blower around the furniture, I can now cover the set to keep it free of dust and debris.
This review is based solely on the installation of our furniture, so I can't speak to the durability or water resistance at this time. It appears to be of reasonable quality. The fabric, the seams, and the straps are all of high quality. I'm not sure what the straps on the sides are in the picture, but ours had straps on all four corners and a cinch cord around the perimeter. All four sides have vents, and the corner straps are simple to attach to a chair leg.
This week, the cover arrived and was installed on the table and chairs to protect them from the upcoming Northeast winter. It would be premature for me to assess the cover's water resistance or durability at this time. It appears to be a durable cover that resembles others that have performed admirably over the course of one winter. I like that the cover can be fastened at four points with clasps, but unlike other similar toggles, the plastic clasps are difficult to open. br> In the spring, I intend to update this review.
