I've only had it for a few months, but so far it has proven to be durable, protects my umbrella, and hasn't faded in the Florida summer sun. My only complaint about the cover is that at 5'4", I have a hard time getting the cover to open over the top of the umbrella so I can pull it over. To reach high enough to get the umbrella cover down over it, I have to use my upper shelf kitchen can 'grabber' or stand on a chair (which isn't very safe). This isn't a deal breaker, and it's to be expected given that this isn't a top-tier product. the- More expensive umbrella covers have telescoping rods to help you reach the umbrella's top. What you pay for is exactly what you get. I still think it's a good idea.

This is a usable product, but it is not usable. To put it on, you must first be extremely tall, or you must remove the umbrella, put it on, and then re-attach it. I suppose you could attach it or use a chair, but who wants to risk tripping over patio chairs? Second, it has a zipper that does not close properly when used. It opens all the way with the tiniest of pulls. Third, when it's not in use, there's nothing else to keep it closed. It would be ideal if there was a pull string at the bottom to keep it closed and secure, but there isn't one, so if there is wind, as there often is in my area, it will simply open and fly away.

However, because we had not yet received our patio set, it remained in the box for several weeks. When I opened the box and followed the instructions for the solar lights, I noticed that the line that connects to the solar panel that powers the lights was missing. The fact that the solar lights do not work at all makes me extremely unhappy. I'm not sure how I'm going to return it. So I guess I'm stuck with it and will have to buy and hang lights. I was let down.

When not in use, I appreciate the fact that it comes with a storage pouch. br>I liked the partial zipper and how easy it was to put on. This is a fairly light weight item; I'm not sure how it would hold up in harsh climates, but I think it will be fine in Southern California. br>I'm very pleased with the purchase, price, and quality.

6/18/21. Because the zipper is short, you'll need to use a step stool to place it on a patio table umbrella. When using a free-standing umbrella, you can put it on by tilting it toward you. It's not a particularly thick material. It's water-resistant, but I'm not sure how it'll fare in the sun. I just finished putting these up; in a few months, I'll update this review.

I didn't want to get this cover because of one bad review that said it didn't cover the umbrella completely, which isn't true. I have a 9inch umbrella and it's perfect and very good material, exactly what I wanted, thanks AMAZON.

We can't give it a rating for "durability" because we just got it. The umbrella looks great and performs admirably. The vented top allows wind to escape without causing damage to the canopy, which we like. Our only disappointment was that the umbrella came with a card instructing us to text a phone number in order to receive a free extra canopy—we have yet to receive a response. It would be fantastic if there was an additional canopy!.
