I don't have it anymore because it's too long and flimsy. A broomstick is what I use, and it works great.
Alternatively, you can stand on something if you wait long enough.

This is a tough cover that fits a 15-foot square patio perfectly. We paid $35 for the matching cover at Lows, and it lasted one season before being shredded by the wind and sun. This one is made of a much heavier material and comes with an extension rod that allows you to lift the cover over the top. I'm 6'1" and had to use a chair or a broom handle to reach the folded canopy with the previous cover. br>br>I give most of the items I buy on Amazon a rating, and I rarely give them five stars. This is a purchase worth 5 stars. We currently have two shade umbrellas, and I placed an order for a third today. Again, I'm blown away by the quality for the price.
This matches my new Purple Leaf 9' square cantilever umbrella (gray) perfectly. I have to admit, I couldn't stand the color (beige) of Purple Leaf's provided cover. The Superjare is made of thicker fabric and has a strong zipper. The positioning rod is useful and is inserted through a large grommet opening (the Purple Leaf cover had only a cut slit). I wish the cover was a little longer, but it only covers my lower base crank right now. The cover is cinched in the middle with a velcro strap, but it feels cheesy. The elastic band at the bottom is a minor concern, as is whether it will remain intact after exposure to the sun and rain. The seams aren't taped, so don't expect a completely waterproof cover, as mentioned by another reviewer. However, at half the cost of the OEM cover, I think it's a good deal.
Fits our triple umbrella from Big Lots perfectly; replacing this will be much less expensive than replacing the umbrella. Would recommend buying this over an umbrella to withstand the sun and rain.
The umbrella cover's length is long enough to fit any tall umbrella you can find! I had an extra Velcro strap lying around that I could use. In the event of a strong wind, I Velcro the umbrella cover's top for added support. It is not required. It even comes with a built-in stick pole to assist you in removing the umbrella cover and then reattaching it to the 15-foot umbrella, which is a huge plus. If you misplace the extension pole stick, it can be a pain to locate the extension pole to assist you in reattaching the umbrella cover to your oversized umbrella. A fantastic purchase!.
The weatherproofness of the building is going to be assessed! I didn't anticipate such a long-lasting, well-made product for the price. I measured the original umbrella cover and this was the closest in size, so I figured for the price, I could replace it once a year if necessary. Was I surprised to see the high-quality, heavy-weight fabric, high-quality zipper, and telescoping pole with a grommeted sleeve? It looks great, and I'm hoping the weatherproofing is up to par!.
Last year, I finally had to replace the fabric on these umbrellas, and I found a great place to do so online, though the replacement fabric is not as thick as the original. Since I bought these covers, I think I'll be able to get a couple more seasons out of them. I couldn't figure out why the extra pole came with it in the listing, but it's so you can insert it into the cover and use it as a sort of handle to easily get the cover over the umbrella. I was able to install both of these in less than 5 minutes. I do wish they had used a color that matched the fabric instead of black for the hooks and loop wrap, but it's not a major flaw. I suppose it isn't necessary, and I could remove it. The fabric on these covers is very thick and nice, and at $25 each, I got a good deal.
Each year, it's becoming more difficult to take down and put up. Despite the fact that it came with a pole to assist in lifting, I ended up placing my step ladder over the top of the umbrella (remember, it's 7 feet tall) - It's still a lot easier to take it down than it is to put it up. I was pleased to find that it completely covered the fabric. It has a velcro strap and a sturdy zipper. I gave it a 4 for durability because it appears to be sturdy enough, but I'm curious how it will fare in a New England winter.
The product arrived in good condition and appeared to be of high quality. The canvas is a nice heavy weight. However, the standard of the product was poor. I unzipped it and draped it over my umbrella the first time I used it. After that, I yanked on the zipper's string - The string snapped and was yanked away. No problem, I reasoned, I'll take care of it. As a result, I zipped it up without the string and. . . The zipper was broken (the sliding portion of the zipper had come undone). I'm going back to get my money back.
