Questions & Answers

Would this be a suitable cover for an umbrella kept year-round in Seattle (where it rains for the majority of the year)?

Wow, that is an excellent question. The humidity averages in the 70% range throughout the summer and can get worse depending on conditions here on the East Coast where I live and can get worse depending on condition Despite the fact that I keep our umbrella in this cover during the winter, I also keep it in the garage. Outside, however, I see no problem in normal use, even in the rain. Of course, that does not happen every day. You'd be hard pressed to find a better cover based on the construction and materials used in this one. You may only need to air it out now and then, and spray it with Scotch Guard on a regular basis. Rustoleum has a new spray-on waterproofing product in a can that I've seen on TV in commercials that appears to do a great job. I apologize for the inconvenience, and I hope this information is useful.

Hi - Is the cover zipper fully functional or only partially functional?

My 8-foot umbrella has a zipper that runs about halfway up it. Because I am an 80-year-old short woman, I needed someone to turn the 56-inch table on its side so that I could slip the umbrella inside the zippered area. From then on, it was smooth sailing.

Will this fit a rectangular umbrella that measures 10'6" x 6'6"?

Although I'm not sure how a rectangular umbrella folds, the description claims that it will cover an 11' umbrella, which most patio umbrellas will. umbrellas for the markets It's on my list of eight things to do. I returned the 5' model because it was monstrous. I'm afraid I won't be able to provide any additional information.

Prior to the mesh, how deep is the structured vent? I need a cover to keep bats out of my umbrella, but there can't be any small openings?

The vent, as previously stated by D Roberts, is shaped like an upside down pocket and begins approximately at the top of the vent. 7" from the cover's top edge is roughly equal to 8" deep. Because the mesh inside is so fine, critters will not be able to get inside the cover. I can't say whether bats would use the pocket to build a nest because I'm not familiar with their habits. You might want to give a couple of industrial-style options a shot. Velcro dots/strips of sufficient strength and adhesiveness to keep it closed while allowing it to breathe. I've been sewing for several years. I'm fairly handy with crafts, so I'd probably use a mesh screen that's been loosely wadded up to fill the space. Hopefully, this will deter them from settling down. Personally, I don't believe you'll be able to find a more suitable candidate. neither a man-made nor a completely critter-proof cover proof.

Umbrella Cover with Extra Strength
5/5

It fit my 8-foot aluminum Sears market umbrella and was well-made with heavy canvas and a water-resistant pvc/rubber coating on the inside. My umbrella is 23 years old, but it appears to be brand new because I've always kept it covered. Because the Texas sun is so harsh on them, this will be my third cover. Every seven years, you can either purchase a $120 umbrella or a $20 cover. This cover has a bungee corded drawstring and a plastic snap catch at the bottom, so you can customize it to your liking. It does not come with an installation rod, which can make it difficult to install unless you have a homemade installation pole. Look no further if you want a well-made, heavy-duty umbrella cover at an affordable price.

Exceptional! 10 Stars! Materials and construction are exceptional! When I first opened the package with my new Ravenna Premium Outdoor Patio Umbrella Cover, I didn't expect to be blown away by an umbrella cover, but WOW! What a pleasant surprise; it far exceeded my wildest dreams
5/5

This umbrella cover is equipped with all of the necessary features. I have no doubt that the fabric will withstand the snowfall in Pennsylvania. Winters will be filled with snow and ice for years to come. All of the hardware, zippers, clasps, ties, and other details are of exceptional quality. It was far superior to my expectations. And it appears that the size is large enough to accommodate any size umbrella. I'm still blown away by the cover's exceptional quality. This cover is truly handcrafted to the highest standards. I think I'll stick with Ravenna outdoor furniture covers in the future; I never expected to be so enthusiastic about an umbrella cover, but the materials and effort put into making it are so exceptional that it can't be overlooked. br>10 out of 10! If you're looking for a cover that will last a long time, this is the one to get. You have the sought-after quality. You will not be disappointed if you continue to use this cover in the future. When I get home, I'll upload some photos.

In every way, this is an outstanding product! Made of medium weight duck canvas with a waterproof liner and side vent to prevent mold or mildew buildup, this is the BEST umbrella cover my better half and I have ever had, especially at this end of season bargain price! Will comfortably accommodate a 10 foot market type (read: bar in the backyard- umbrella! (insert table and chairs here) I'm sure this product will last many seasons because it's heavy and well-made
5/5

I've also purchased far too many umbrella and chair covers for each season! br>I was so impressed with this Raveena product that I ordered a chair cover, which arrived today and is of the same high quality and construction. So. I placed a second order for five more to complete our Brooklyn, N. Y. collection. set in the backyard, where the sun and rain have ruined the other items we had that had only lasted a season! br>I strongly recommend this product, and at these end-of-season prices (roughly half off the original reasonable price), it's a STEAL!.

It's still a win! (As of May 24, 2021, this information has been updated
5/5

) This umbrella cover is very well made, and it covers our entire umbrella all the way to the table, keeping it completely dry. It's quite appealing, and the darker color contrasts nicely with our light-colored furnishings. Because of its length, it is a little more difficult to put on and take off the umbrella, but this should not be a deal breaker. This is an excellent value for money. For two or three times the price, we've seen far less impressive covers. This is a cover that will not disappoint you! br>br>Review is now up to date: We've had this umbrella cover for nearly two years and it still looks brand new. It hasn't faded despite being exposed to direct sunlight in the afternoon. It's still in great shape, and it's keeping our umbrella dry. Although the cost has increased since we purchased it, I still consider it to be one of our best investments. br>br>Review updated (24 May 2021): This umbrella cover has been in the sun for three years and continues to protect our umbrella. Our umbrella has remained dry thanks to the cover's durability. The ribbon that connects the zipper to the bag is fraying a little around the edges, but it's still functional. There is a small 1/2" seam at the top of the overlay that has torn and covers the entire zipper, but it has no effect on the cover's performance. It's not difficult to fix. We still think this product is a great value, especially considering the price (which was about $8 less when we bought it).

In Texas, it has a two-season run
3/5

They look good and feel good, but when they dry out in the sun, they begin to tear at their stress points, which for me are right at the top. The (13' cover) cover then slides down, the umbrella poking out of the cover's tip. The cover for the smaller 11' umbrella cover (which fails at the top) and the 88 Inch Patio Sofa/Loveseat Cover (which fails at the stress point on the sofa arms) are both the same. I bought them in 2016, and I'm going to buy them all again in 2021 because I'm thinking of selling the house, and they dress up the backyard profile, but I don't think they'll last much longer than four years. In terms of outdoor covers, that might be acceptable. It is entirely up to you.

It's both attractive and well-made
5/5

After reading all of the reviews, I decided to purchase the Ravenna umbrella cover from Classic Accessories. It only extends to cover our 11-foot umbrella. After the cover was installed, we had to tuck some of the extra umbrella fabric underneath it. It has been through a couple of strong rainstorms and has held up admirably. The fabric is thick enough, and the fit is snug enough, that it won't flutter in high winds. In terms of durability, it is still in perfect working order today. In terms of longevity, we'll have to wait and see how long it lasts after being baked in the sun for a few years. We're enjoying it so far.
