About half of it unzips. I had no trouble zipping up the umbrella cover and putting it in place. One person can easily complete the task.
The cover fits our 9' umbrella perfectly, and we are very pleased with it.
Possibly. It should be possible if your Dad can get up high enough to slip the cover over the top of the umbrella and then pull it down while it's in place- I'm just curious if it'll end up on the bottom of the table.
I'm not sure about the warranty, but the material feels substantial. This is a product that I would purchase again.

The cover's actual dimensions (Length x Width at the bottom) are 75"x22". The width is approximately 14 1/2" at the halfway point of the length. In the photo, you can see the cover's actual shape. br>br>Based on my personal experience with an outdoor cover made of this material, it should last a full season in moderate weather. However, during the second cold season, it is most likely to be torn. This is based on typical weather in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. br>br>Also, keep in mind that Classic Accessories is the manufacturer of this AmazonBasics cover. I successfully claimed warranty product replacement for every cover I purchased from them because each one was torn by the weather in less than two years (which was covered by their 3-year warranty). warranty of one year). br>br>In terms of this product's warranty, neither the web page description nor the product packaging contain a single word. br>br>Hello, Amazon, LLC. Could you please clarify whether "no warranty" means "no warranty at all" or "lifetime unconditional warranty"?.
This cover does an excellent job of shielding my umbrella from the sun, rain, airborne dirt, and bird droppings, ensuring that it remains in good condition. It has a drawstring on the bottom and a side zipper for closure. The umbrella on the inside is never wet because the cover's fabric has a waterproof coating on the outside. br>br>The only drawback is that it is difficult to put on and take off. (Unless you're a member of the NBA! ) My umbrella's peak is nearly nine feet tall. The cover has a zipper that only goes up 3 feet high. Use a smooth stick or pole long enough to reach the umbrella's top as a solution. Place the stick in the open cover, reach up, and place it over the umbrella top, then pull the cover down. To remove the cover, turn it around.
Because the umbrella covers had faded so badly, I had to replace them every year. These covers, in my opinion, are the answer. The covers are made of a canvas-like material that should withstand all types of weather for many years. It's unlikely that the tan color will fade noticeably. br>I've read some reviews where people say it's difficult to put the cover over an umbrella and take it off again. Here's how you can fix it. A 6 foot plant stake can be purchased from a local hardware store. Simply slide the stake into the cover (zipper completely open) and lift the cover with the stake when it's time to put the cover over your umbrella. It'll easily slide over the top of your umbrella, and you can easily remove (or leave) the stake. Slid the stake back in and lift to remove the cover. Easy! br>By the way, I just ordered one to see what it was like. Then I placed a second order for two more. That's how good they are.
Although the fabric appears to be durable, the zipper is short and thus does not fully unzip. Short zipper adds to the inconvenience due to the lack of an installation rod. On top of the shade mobile rolling umbrella base, I have a 7-foot umbrella. I made a wand out of a small bamboo pole (plant stake), but even with the bamboo pole, it's difficult to get it on because the thing doesn't unzip far enough. When I bought it, I was aware that it lacked a wand. As a result, I'm not going to deduct a star. I figured I could use any pole I had at home as an installation wand, but it turns out that without a chair, it's still difficult to get it on because the zipper is so short.
I'm about to order a large one for my outdoor loveseat, because the expensive "brand name" cover I bought at a specialty store failed completely. All I can do now is hope that the soaked clothes can be saved. Cushions that have been stained br>These covers have a generous cut as well. Because there were only a few sizes available, I had to order ones that were "just big enough" to fit over my furniture and hope they weren't too tight (the fabric doesn't stretch). In fact, there was an extra inch, which was exactly what I needed for wiggle room. br>It's less expensive and performs far better than the high-end brand. That's fantastic!.
People only read 1 star reviews, this is a great product but it's difficult to get the umbrella in and out without bringing the umbrella down. Many people at home have tried and so far we've had to remove the umbrella from the table. Other than that, fantastic products, I'll come back to review durability after a season outside.
If I had a four-star rating for this umbrella cover, I would have given it to it. I would have given it a five-star rating because it does the job, blends in well outside, and keeps the umbrella dry and protected. I like the side zipper, and my only complaint is that it's an added bonus: I would have purchased two of these umbrella covers if they came with a telescoping tool to assist with getting them on and off the outdoor umbrella. However, due to the fact that it didn't - I bought this one as well as one that came with the tool, and the telescoping tool saves me a lot of time when it comes to putting on and taking off the covers.
This is the first summer where there have been no problems. I noticed in the reviews that the zipper does not go all the way up the cover. It's nearly impossible to get rid of it without tilting the umbrella, using a pole (as some similar products come with), or standing on something. I usually have no issues tilting it (though the base did scratch my deck the first time-- (See my review of the base for more information. ) br>br>The only thing that concerns me for the price is the zipper breaking. I'm guessing the umbrella won't offer the same level of sun protection? Not sure. Unless I heard it didn't protect the umbrella from sun damage, I'd buy it again.
