We used to have a higher-quality, more expensive cover, but it started to tear after four years of use, so I decided to give this one a try and save some money. Because the top is fairly wide, it's ideal for a larger umbrella like ours, and it's lined with vinyl on the inside, so it should be waterproof. However, the cinchable string at the bottom is fairly flimsy/thin, so you won't be able to close the bottom by cinching it very tightly. We have two umbrellas, so I may keep this one because it was relatively inexpensive, but I'll most likely return to our other cover, which has a tighter bottom.

I just got the umbrella cover and put it on right away. I'm 5 ft. Because I'm tall, this is usually a difficult task for me, but the zipper saved the day. To lift the cover over the umbrella's top, I used a small step stool with a broom stick handle inserted. It only took two minutes for me to complete this task. There was no resistance. I'm not sure about the other aspects, but the cover appears to be well-made. made.

This item delivered exactly what it promised. The material is of high quality. br>br>However, I had to make a minor change. My umbrella's peak is approximately 8 feet tall. My deck is 10 feet off the ground. On the inside of my previous umbrella cover, there was a pouch with two PVC pipe sections. When they were connected, they were used to push the top of the cover over the umbrella, allowing it to be removed. To replace the cover, repeat the procedure. I cut this pouch out of an old cover and sewed it inside this one, and voila! br>br>I gave it four stars because I had to modify it to meet my requirements. br>br>In addition, the zipper is of poor quality. Broke! It's less expensive to buy a new cover than it is to replace the zipper.

This umbrella cover offers excellent value for money. We used it to cover the top section of our umbrella, which was 5 feet long. The material is fairly thick, appears to be waterproof, and the zipper worked flawlessly. The end closure wasn't perfect, but we simply wrapped it around the end a few more times and it was fine. We used to have to store the umbrella in our garage, but now we can put it outside under the covered patio table between the two end chairs, which is ideal!.

They cord at the bottom isn't tight enough to keep 100% it 100% closed. It's a little tricky to close up, but overall, it's a fantastic cover.

I'm glad I purchased them. Material, stitching, and zipper are all of the highest quality. I purchased two pairs, and they are both very comfortable. Because they are coated on the inside, I expect them to be completely waterproof.
