I'm a 40-year-old single woman who put this together in about 9 hours by myself; however, I wouldn't have attempted it if I didn't have an 8-foot ladder to prop up the opposite end of the beams while installing. Despite the fact that the instructions stated otherwise, very little pre-drilling was required, and the wood screws were self-tapping. Predrilling was only necessary for a few hex lag screws. There were no missing or damaged pieces, and each one was numbered for easy identification. The instructions were detailed, and almost all of the holes had been predrilled at the factory and were in the proper locations. The anchors could be a little beefier, but given how heavy and sturdy this is, they won't be needed. It turned out beautifully, and I'm going to appreciate the additional sunshade cover that comes with it, which isn't available with many other models. A pergola of this size custom-built by a contractor would have cost me thousands of dollars more, and I wouldn't have had the satisfaction of doing it myself!.

Instead of cutting pressure treated lumber and spending several days working on it, I was looking for a kit. This kit satisfied my requirements and was far superior to what I could have constructed on my own. The package was delivered to my driveway by UPS freight. It's delivered in three long boxes on a massive pallet. It is approximately 500 pounds in weight. Solicit assistance, as each box weighs more than 150 pounds. The assembly instructions were clear, and each piece of wood was clearly labeled to aid in the process. Before assembling, spend an hour sorting the pieces and making a parts inventory. Although no parts were missing, having the parts organized during assembly was extremely helpful. I had my doubts about how sturdy the boards would be because they are so light. Take their advice and pre-drill holes when they say to avoid splitting the wood. My wife and I put the entire structure together in about 12 hours on top of our existing wood deck, with no modifications needed and everything fitting together perfectly. This kit exceeded my expectations, and I'm excited to see how durable it will be during the winter months.

"I Love It," is all I have to say. It took some time, but it was well worth the effort. We'll be able to use it for a long time. We've had several storms in the three months we've had it, and it's held up admirably. Due to the fact that we have to stay at home due to a coved- We have a small beach retreat in our backyard, which is 19 years old.

There are numerous misunderstandings. Here's where you can find out more information or clear up any misunderstandings:
1. Size: If you are unsure about the overall and base dimensions, you will receive an 8x10ft pargola. If you add up all the hanging parts, it comes to 10x14, but don't be fooled. I bought it thinking it would fit my deck, but it now looks odd as a result of this.
2. Wood: The rigidity and strength of wood are not very high. I had a lot of cracked parts, and some of them cracked while I was nailing them down. Some of them had already started to bend. It is not stained, colored, or weathered in any way. It's something you have to do every year.
3. Customer service: I had some problems and contacted them, only to be told that "No human exists" on customer service, and I never received a response. I can't return it because I already installed it (and spent time and money doing so) and I can't pack it in the box.

It is made of high-quality cedar wood, and the components are well-engineered and fit together well. Many parts are involved in the assembly, all of which are numbered and come with detailed assembly instructions. Assembly took three days at a rate of four hours per day, but I'm retired, so it was a breeze for me.

A lot of the holes should have been pre-drilled. br>br>The wood is very cheap; I've worked with cardboard that was much more durable. It's a complete pity and a complete waste. br>br>Straightening one of the screws! A large piece of wood snapped in two. It's a complete farce.

First and foremost, I'd like to express my gratitude to Yadistry for honoring my request to ship this pergola sooner than expected, not just in words, but in action. For that, I'd give the vendor a higher rating than 5 stars. For two wonderful reasons, I desired the pergola. First, our daughter, who works as a nurse in Portland, will be visiting us over her birthday weekend. She's been on the front lines, like many other healthcare providers, caring for people who are suffering from the Covid-related illness. Pandemic number 19 has arrived. It's been over two years since we've seen her. Second, we'll have a gender reveal party for our first grandchild in our backyard to celebrate her birthday. The pergola is an excellent addition to our backyard, and it appears to have always been there. Once again, thank you.
