It includes four U-shaped braces. To bend the 6" tabs out to 90 degree feet, I had to use an angle grinder. Because there are no holes for bracket attachment, I built brick towers around each post to sit on the tabs, but the brick towers are technically not attached to the pvc frame brackets, which slide up into each post.

When put together, it looks really nice. I had some issues with parts where I used the wrong screws. Overall, it creaks a little in the wind, but it's a nice piece of furniture.
The pergola has a nice look to it. I knew exactly what I was getting because this is my second one. The thing I dislike the most is how difficult it is to erect; it is not difficult to put together, but it is difficult to stand up. I'd make another purchase.
For our hanging baskets, we purchased these. They appear to be fantastic. It took two of us about five hours to put three of these together, and the instructions were simple to follow.
It'll never be rigid because it's made of vinyl. However, unless you put a solid or sail cover on top, I don't believe it will fall over even in strong winds. Assembly was simple, but two people would make it go faster.
Once it's up, it looks great. The instructions could be made a little clearer. To keep track of what goes where, label pieces with numbers. It was necessary to make some changes to the top row. Some of the holes were not perfectly aligned. In addition, the glued-in parts did not fit properly in the end. too lose.
It appears to be quite appealing - Although not as durable as I had hoped, it will suffice.
