I put the unit together on my own, with the exception of attaching the posts to the cross beams and positioning it in place. I carried on with the louver installation - Approximately 4 hours to complete the assembly. The end result is fantastic!.
One of the most practical, well-designed, and well-thought-out products I've seen in a long time, with excellent build quality. The only criticism I have is that the powder coating is a little thin and easily scratched. It was simple to follow the instructions. It's simple if you pay attention to them and don't try to skip any steps. Because the outside frame is so tall and long (10'x20'x96"), my son assisted me in putting it up. It took me about 5 hours in total. br>br>Our seller took longer than usual to ship it, and we were almost forced to cancel the order, but it miraculously arrived the next day. br>br>For the outdoor kitchen, I added a custom extension to one end. br>br>There were no reviews when I bought it, so I decided to write one. I would highly recommend this product if you are considering a dried-in outdoor living space; we will be adding one of the optional wind/rain screens to one section.
I received five boxes that were in good condition and came with instructions. I went through all of the boxes and found that they were all well-packaged and contained everything that was supposed to be in them. Each piece was packaged separately in the hardware box, which was well-made. The video on the internet was also excellent. Although assembly is not difficult, you will require assistance, at least in some areas. I'm mostly doing it on my own, but I did ask for assistance with the sides. My only real criticism is that it does not include a link to online instructions and that it comes with concrete anchors but does not specify what size drill bit is required. I'm slow and am spreading it out over a few days (after work), but I'm sure if you had a steady helper or two, you could finish it in a few hours. My only real feedback is that it does not include a link to online instructions and that it does not specify what size drill bit is required.
It took a lot of courage for me to pay so much for something I hadn't seen in person and couldn't easily return. So far, I'm happy with the results. Even though it's only day two, I feel compelled to share. br>br>First and foremost, this isn't black or even a shade of black; it's grey. Fortunately for us, we like this color, but I would not have been pleased if something so expensive turned out to be inaccurate in terms of color. It appears to be quite heavy-duty. br>br> The boxes are extremely heavy, and the individual pieces are also quite heavy, which is clearly what most people prefer. br>br>There were no instructions. It's not bad, probably adequate, but it's mostly letters of the pieces with diagrams and no helpful hints. As a result, it appears to take longer than anticipated because there is no mention of leaving these slides loose or not being able to slide other pieces on during the initial stages of installing the rails on the posts. We had to undo what we did because we had to put those on in previous steps, which took a long time, and the lack of written instructions caused us to miss installing the first rail louver in the correct location, which obviously had an impact on a lot of other things. Another way to waste time. br>br>A couple of screws appear to be rusted. I'm not sure if those were bolt specifications or if these things will eventually rust, so we'll have to wait and see. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. br>br> So far, everything is working as it should, and I'm hoping that this will continue.
It was well-packaged and arrived in perfect working order, with no missing parts. Assembly was simple and straightforward, and I would have given it five stars if it wasn't for the fact that it isn't black, but rather a dark gray. Everything is fine because my wife likes the color.
This is an excellent product with a great design and sturdy parts that are ideal for our patio, which receives a lot of wind and sun. I like that the top can be opened and closed. When the vents are closed, it is possible to sit in the rain without getting wet. br>Customer service was fantastic in terms of getting back to me quickly and answering my questions. In a pamphlet, the assembly was described in great detail. It took a while to get everything together, but that's due to the size of the group. The parts were of good quality, and my husband never said anything was "made in China," which is a good thing. If you need a patio cover, this is the place to go.
This pergola has made my life so much easier. It was simple to put together; Yes, it's time-consuming, but it's also incredibly simple. A minimum of two people are required. It arrived in excellent condition. br>br>In terms of color, it's a charcoal grey. The color isn't dark. The fact that it's charcoal grey is fantastic. As a result, for me, that was a huge plus. br>br>I give this a five-star rating. It appeals to me. We're glad we spent the extra money on a retractable pergola. It's precisely what we were looking for.
Excellent craftsmanship. It's not difficult to put together.
