Yes, you certainly can.
I'm not sure, but the one that came with it will get stained pretty quickly, so I replaced it with a sail canopy shade. It's a lot tougher and won't stain.
I've had mine for three years and it's still in perfect condition.
The firm will correct any flaws that it discovers. With that in mind, and the fact that the main components are steel, you should never have a problem.

My pergola has given me a lot of pleasure. It takes a few hours and two people to complete, but it is well worth the effort. br>br>5/27/21- We liked it so much that we bought another one. No (zero) Starsbr> There were poles with no holes and some with holes in the wrong places on the second one, which was nowhere near as good as the first. My husband simply drilled holes in the correct locations on the first piece, but after discovering some that were missing holes, we decided to disassemble it and return it. We wasted so much time on it that I decided to exchange it for a new one, hoping that it was just a bad one. I'll post another update once we get it and have a chance to inspect it before we begin putting it together.
We live in a very windy area, so something with a collapsible or removable top was exactly what we needed. We've already gone through a few of these, and despite the fact that they all had removable tops, they all bent and broke in the strong winds. Just the other day, there was a strong wind, and I assumed this would be broken like the others, but it appears that this one is different. When constructing it, make sure to watch out and have the slider bar support line up, which I didn’t do the first time and had to rebuild 80% of the frame. Overall, I'm pleased with the build quality, packaging, and instructions; however, due to the size of some of the parts, you'll almost certainly need assistance. I'd also recommend having a 10mm socket on hand to speed up the assembly process.
Everything is going swimmingly. br>It took almost an entire Saturday for my husband and two of his friends to put it together. It wasn't an easy task. The end result, however, is stunning. br>It's tough and has a high-quality finish. It has a finished appearance and feel. br>standing up to the elements admirably. br>It has a lovely finish. It's exactly what I had hoped for based on the photos. br>Over the last month, we've had a lot of rain and wind, but no problems. br>It has gotten a lot of praise from my neighbors. It easily retracts, allowing us to enjoy some sun on the deck. br>I also like to retract it when there is a chance of heavy rain. br>I am extremely pleased with this purchase in general. br>Worth every penny!.
I'm quite pleased with my purchase. When compared to the similar item I purchased from a local store, it appears to be a great deal. br>br>The package arrived in good condition, with all of the components well-protected. It's simple to put together if you follow the instructions. Since we opened the package, it took my brother and I about 20 minutes. br>br>When fully assembled, I like the size and sturdiness. The pergola has held up well after being exposed to the elements for nearly two weeks, including wind and snow. Overall, it is better than I expected and I would recommend it.
I am extremely dissatisfied with this product because, first and foremost, I had to wait two weeks for it to be delivered after placing my order. Second, the instructions were terrible, and we had to swap out several parts to get it to work. There is a screw hole missing from one of the parts. Please save your money. Yes, I read the reviews before buying, even though there were only ten at the time.
The product arrived on time, and upon opening it, I discovered that all of the hardware was present, but that several of the support structures were bent and dented. The frame is made of flimsy aluminum that easily bends. After bending pieces into a usable shape, it was a pain to set up. Wound strongly advises paying a little more for a product that will allow and has a chance of arriving in good condition. This was a miscalculation on my part.
The unit is simple to put together. Everything just fell into place. When assembling, you must pay attention to the pictures and the direction in which the holes are facing. It's easier to stand up the two ends with three people making the first attachments. If the pull is slightly off center, the canopy slides get caught, but it's simple to straighten them out. Although I would prefer it to be smoother, it appears to be adequate. It appears to be in good condition, and we hope it lasts for a long time.
We placed an order for this item and had it delivered the next day. It collapsed on us just as we were about to finish setting it up. This is after tearing a few sections apart several times because the instructions, if you can call them that, were extremely difficult to follow. We had to figure out a lot until it imploded on us because there was no text in the pictures. I'm not usually one to write reviews, but I felt this one deserved it.
