As one of the last deciduous hardwoods to wake up in spring, crape myrtles are always the last to bloom. As a matter of fact, we still have many in the nursery that aren't awake In the coming weeks, all the plants will start leafing out as long as there is water in the soil. Keep an eye on the base of the plant, as sometimes they will send up shoots from the roots before the rest of the plant awakens. There's nothing to worry about with this, since it's a very common problem. This is a good start, Stay safe, and thank you.

The two trees sent were over 5 feet tall, and she said they had been sent twice! This gift took the wow factor to a whole new level. It would be a pleasure to order from this seller again in the future. I love it!.
A total of five Red Crepe Myrtles are being sent to me. Last July, they sent six as had been said before. Shipping in July was very fast, and they arrived in great condition. It was a little longer than two feet. Because I wanted to wait until they had survived the winter before I reviewed them, I waited to do this review. As I had planned to plant them around two well established white crepe myrtle trees, I never had any luck. A seller and others had warned me that they might not survive because of the established trees that could block the roots' access to moisture. To complement each other, I wanted the red ones to grow up into the white ones. The issue appears to have been resolved. As soon as the roots were planted, they grew. They are now doing very well, with only a short dry spell for watering once in a while. Fast forward seven months later, and they're doing very well with little extra watering. The leaves have grown out and the branches have formed. As I mentioned, I am very happy with them and would definitely purchase more from this seller in the future. I AM UPDATING ALMOST 1 YEAR FROM THE DATE OF THIS POST It is still a pleasure to work with you. It has been a week since the first blooms appeared. As ordered, the color is what was received. As I had hoped, this will do just what I wanted. To supplement and enhance the White Crepe Myrtle, let the Red Crepe Myrtle grow alongside it.
There was no evidence that these trees were as well rooted as advertised, nor were they two to four feet tall. It was a poor packing job with no protection in a cardboard box, and was easily crushed. They were 18 inches tall and looked like twigs. I would not recommend it.
In return for the $$ that I paid, I expected to receive more of a shrub-type plant than a fern-type plant What I got was a small twig about 2 feet long, like a sapling. sends a spare case of rain -) It looked like a long switch with some fall In spite of it's absence of branches, blooms, or girth, I would have to wait at least a year for any blooms to return as it won't bloom for at least a year (perhaps 2). The one I planted has wilted and died, despite the fact that I have taken care to water it. I went to a local nursery a few weeks ago and bought two crepe myrtles (about 6 in. The trees are each 2 feet tall and contain several branches and several blooms) for the same price as the saplings that I purchased.
I received the goods in good condition. It's great that you added one more plant. It was easy to follow the instructions. We now just have to wait for new growth and pray.
Although I have not tried to see whether the pots are connected, it looks as if there are 5 plants together in 2 pots. In the past, I've ordered plants online and expected them to look as though they had traveled across the country in a box. There's no reason to be afraid After a week of sun and water, they are perked up and doing just fine. Let them have A dead stick turned up when I pulled one I bought last year off. I wrapped it for winter only to pull it off the following spring and when I first saw the plant, but I gave it the chance, and now it's gorgeous and one of the best bloomers in the yard.
At first, I was a bit concerned about the packaging, but the plants seem to tolerate it just fine 1) I was surprised at how large the dormant plants we kept in the basement were. I was also impressed by their speedy shipping. It was extremely clear how to do it.
I received the package in less than a week and it was well packaged. As I opened the first box, however, I was surprised to see such tiny plants that were maybe 24" tall and had a steam that was not even close to the size of a normal one. Trees are not what these were they were Due to the fact that I had already calculated the cost locally for about $50 more with roots and a proper trunk, I anticipated a small tree at that price. In the end, I chose RED over pink because I wanted them to be RED With my age of 72, I can reasonably predict that I am not here to see any of these vines grow to reach their full glory. These plants will be kept by me. In any case, I'm going to put them into a different part of my yard. Buyer beware. A good laugh is all I need right now.
