Texans now have the chance to enjoy Camellia Sinesis (Tea plants)! The restrictions on importing tea into Texas have made it difficult for me to find a company that would ship tea plants to Texas
5/5

There are some states that have restrictions on the shipment of plants, so companies don't have to deal with certification. The animals arrived in great condition not only because they were healthy, but also because they had been certified healthy. As these were going to be shipped at the end of December, I was concerned they might get frozen during transit. Despite this, both of my plants appeared healthy and were around six to eight inches tall This plant is about 7" tall and has many There were instructions and what looked like a nutrient packet in the box (as shown in the photo). My friends will be very happy with these and I intend on ordering some as gifts for them.

This small plant was reasonably priced and survived the long journey
4/5

There is nothing wrong with it. I guess the package went from FL to CA quite slowly, but I suppose that is the result of a long trip. With tapes sealing the soil and moisture in, the plant was in a good state when it was packaged. As soon as I received it, the soil was still a little dry. An accident caused two of the new growth tips to turn It was so fast that I unwrapped it and gave it a quick drink. All of the leaves on the plant were brown, and the stems were very thin and brown in color. The layer of snow was a few inches above the ground and not much thicker than a toothpick. There was a little bit of concern in my mind that the plant wouldn't last. As a precaution, I put a little bit of Miracle Gro "quick start and transplant solution" (diluted) in the pot, just to make sure it doesn't suffer from I noticed a big difference as well. After my soil was damp for two weeks, I turned it again and watered it. As of now, there are three more new leaves on the plant, and it has been transplanted into a larger container. While I have been keeping it indoors, I have never focused on the root growth as much. When I checked the root system during transplanting, it appeared to be strong enough and should be able to handle the transition shock. There is now a clear indication that it is all set to grow.

Overall, I would say that it was decent. I will give it another week and then begin taking it outside for some "fresh air" and sunshine. Since it is hard to find and survived, it is at the higher end of prices for a size of the plant. However, considering that it is hard to find, and since it is expensive, I was not overly disappointed. Within the next couple of years I hope the school will grow into a decent size.

I am very pleased with how the plant arrived! It was purchased from as well as the same plant
5/5

I am very pleased with how the plant arrived! bought this plant as well as another of the same plants from Wayside Gardens on the same day and received them both on It came in a qt container and stood about 12" tall right out of the container with a lot of leaves. Are you the one who fell by the wayside? In a 2" deep container, there are only 3 leaves on a 2 inch shoot. With the other place, I had to pay MUCH more. Please accept my sincere thanks!.

Still alive, but it is only just
3/5

Shipping speed was okay (significantly faster than the long estimation). It was okay, but the packaging wasn't great. Other than a few pieces of padding in the box, the plant seemed free to move around easily. There was something wrong with the plant because it was much smaller than I expected

The plant was damaged for this reason. Only four of its leaves are fully extended (one of them is broken), and the two new, small leaves are dark and As it bounces back, I hope it will continue to thrive. (assuming that it is not completely stunted) I would consider the quality of this plant to be average, but with a significant root system that is redeeming. As such, I do not believe which is worth the price at this size. If it was a bit larger, or if it had some healthy new growth, I would be inclined to give it a higher Compared to that, I ordered one coffee plant the same day I made the order. Several years ago, it had 8 plants, each with incredibly soft, green new growth. I paid half as much for it as this camellia did. The tea plants were each twice as large as the tea plant in question.

Tea plant in good health
5/5

Tea trees are very beautiful plants. This tree has a very nice growth rate after several months. About 3 to 4 inches tall, the plant will come in small size I started with four inches, but now it has grown to about five inches by the end of three months. My collection is stored inside my house, on a windowsill. The tree was very healthy when I received it and survived transplant without any visible signs of stress. If you want to start a tea plant in your home, this is the tree to buy. experiment more, I will take branches off, root them, and see how well they do in my yard. I'll let you know in a year or two if I remember to do that.

Plants on Amazon are far and away the best
5/5

I have purchased a few plants on Amazon, but this is by far the most unique. I was amazed at the packaging of the tea plant since it arrived before intended. A good foundation was established for the plant. It has extremely strong roots and very healthy leaves. The stock has a beautiful color and is very healthy. Leaves are bright and beautiful. Stock is very robust, and its roots appear to be well established. I will definitely order more plants from this seller now that it's thick enough to support itself (the wooden rods in the photos are not supporting the plant--by the way)

I will be ordering more plants from this seller from now on.

They arrived on time and took care to protect the plants
4/5

I was concerned about the weather in my area, so they arrived promptly with the plants properly protected. The planter, however, did not come with planting instructions or tips, which would have been helpful.

It arrived in great condition, the ground even still had some moisture in it
5/5

The soil was still moist upon arrival, it had been transported in excellent condition. The next two years are going to be my favorite time to harvest my tea. I think it will be worthwhile in the end even though it will take a while. As for the one I'm holding now, I'm not sure I'll plant it outside. If I wait until it's a year old, I'll order another plant and grow it inside for a year before transferring it outside. A photo will be added in the future so everyone can see how far the project has progressed. I think a before and after would be good. I'm very happy with how things have gone so far!.
