The package does not state if it was at some point or not, so we can assume it was. I am thriving at 3 months with this plant, so it must be good.
While I currently live in Boston, I was born in Pittsburgh. Here, it does well, and you can be certain that it will do well there as well!
Blooming occurs in mid to late spring with the Syringa Bloomerang Pink Perfume. They then rest for a while while putting on new growth. They bloom again in midsummer through autumn!
In the beginning, it was quite small (for the cost), but eventually became quite large and successful. Maybe I planted late in the spring, but I am not sure.

As of May 2019, I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that flowers had already appeared! It is very fragrant, and this little bush is very sturdy, staying in good condition throughout the winter in New Hampshire. It was very well wrapped, with plastic around the pot to prevent moisture from getting into it. The plants were not planted for three days after they arrived, as we put them on the covered back porch for that period so that the temperature and humidity levels would remain stable (a/c was running). With most of its branches measuring 30" high, it appears to be an extremely healthy plant. Hundreds of dollars were spent on plants that looked less healthy at this size at local nurseries. The shrub was planted carefully with landscape cloth and white rock around the base and we made sure the shrub would not get ice or snow on it this winter from overhanging tree branches. A few years from now, I look forward to the smell of fragrant flowers!.
I'm looking for a bushy, dense 3 ft tall plant. It has excellent roots and is quite large and large. Due to the cold weather, it went dormant in February. I was surprised by how much I learned. I am very happy with the outcome.
That this large a plant could arrive by UPS is astounding to me. The plant looked great and even had It would be a pleasure to buy from this seller again in the future.
My daughter received this as a surprise. She enjoyed it very much and commented that it was very healthy and beautiful. As it is still too early to tell what part of it has survived, she selected the best place for it and planted it there. It is hard to determine how much money you will get for the money you spend. The answer is yes if it does what is advertised. If they all arrived the way my daughter's did, then it would be a good gift idea.
Packages were delivered safely and in excellent condition by UPS. We found the plants full of bloom and the smell was incredible! This has been a very good experience for me.
The plants arrived in good health and with full branches when I purchased four. It only took a couple weeks for the 3 gallon containers to start blooming. I have only planted them about a month ago but they seem to be doing well and are still blooming. It gives me great pleasure.
Amazon is the place to buy shrubs, but who buys them? Yes, I did, last summer and in the spring of this year. When my order arrived on my doorstep, I was convinced. I had read good reviews online, but couldn't decide until I received my own. Is exactly how I described it- I found it to be in pristine condition and had a lot of The first time I saw this, I was blown away. It was planted once the weather had the chance to go past frost, and it has thrived. There is new growth on the plant now after it bloomed. I was very pleased with how well it was packaged and how well it was hydrated. In the same way, the shrub I bought last summer also lives up to its name. A product of superior quality, you'll enjoy it.
The size and shape of the bush were as described, and the leaves and branches looked healthy. Probably 10 percent of the unopened buds on the tree were black, but it seems like a small percentage. A minimum of 75 degrees Fahrenheit) and an adequate amount of water is required. My observation was that more and more of the buds were turning hard and black in a matter of days. About 50% of the buds are now hard and black after a week of having the bush. My guess is that it is a bacterial blight, but the leaves and branches look fine, so I'm unsure of what is causing the problem. If I continue on in this manner, I probably won't get any blooms.
