Because I do not read everything, I did not thoroughly review the specifications. A diameter of 1 7/8" can be found on these. 1), drill a hole of 1 3/4" in diameter. The gaps are 2". They will fall through the gap as they are. Nevertheless, there is nothing to worry about. I'm cutting the net bottom off my CZ cups so that I can use the higher collar with the bottom of my CZ cups. They fit perfectly in the 2" CZ net cup, which also fits my bucket lid with 2" holes just fine. The item does not have a flaw, but I failed to read all of the listing's details. With the exception of my oops, they work as expected. In the next few weeks, I will see which way my tomatoes clone faster in a misting bucket or with the old-fashioned method.
The hole needs to be sized to 1 just a bit, but otherwise, it works just fine. 75" in length. The holes are too big to fit through if you cut them two inches deep. If you are cloning different types of plants, you should also use multicolored pots to help you distinguish among them.
There were a few bare spots in my Tower Garden that allowed excess moisture to escape and algae to grow. These collars were just what I needed to seal up the openings in the net pots. My goal is to keep them handy at all times.
Hydroponically growing has been my way of life for the past six In addition to using these plugs, I also planted seeds in 12 rock wool cubes and 12 Rapid Rooters at the same time, and none of them germinated. Neither time nor money was wasted on these exercises.
Both the top and bottom are one and a half inches tall, and the middle is about two inches high. I have 2" holes in my cloner, so they fall through. This is useless junk and it does not deserve to be returned.
The inserts I bought were not 2 inches they were 1 and 3/4 to 1 and 7/8 in size, which didn't fit into any of the holes I drilled for my 10 machines, so I had to go to the local hardware store to buy the right size inserts. Whenever you are calculating the size of your product, it is best to use a tape measure or caliper.
The collar on most of my young plants was so tight that it pinched the stem and restricted nutrient flow, making the collar quite robust. I would not recommend this.
