You have to spray directly on the bugs to kill them with this product, since it kills on contact. Despite being fairly ineffective, it will still serve as a mosquito repellent due to its strong citrus odor
The mosquitoes will stay away for about five minutes, but after that they will be back at you again. You may want to disregard the wind if it is a little bit blustery. It seemed like it was working at first, but the moment the fog lifted it went back to being a problem. This was something I really did not like.
When I use it at night, I use it not so much to kill bugs as to mist my deck. Flies and mosquitoes stay away from it.

Pro You can do it for four hours. It possesses a pleasant smell and is made of non-harmful ingredients, so it's safe to use - I'm safe to let my puppy out of the house - Worked like a charm! During the first four hours, I didn't get bitten at all. There may be some people who resent the scent (I personally am fine with it)* - Worked for only four hours at a time* Considering the size of the backyard, one bottle would not be adequate to cover everything.
It's a good purchase in general.
I've been using this for years and it works like a charm! This has come in handy as I use it outside in the extreme weather conditions of southern Louisiana and have hosted outdoor functions at my home. It sometimes has to be reapplied depending on how long you're outside, but since it can be used around kids/pets, that's precisely why I bought it. I love it so much, it's a dream to work with it! You'll find it worth your time to try it out.
My family and I observed an obvious decrease in mosquitoes while enjoying an outdoor movie night when I did this. Those few pests that bother us still came from areas I did not spray, as I assume they flew over from those areas. As I sprayed there was a ton of them, so I guess I'll take a few stragglers, it's nature after all. There is a pleasant smell to it as well, so you do not feel as if you are surrounded by unpleasant odors.
The reason I purchased this fogger is that it was safe to use around pets, and I wanted to use it around the back door which is on the inside when I use it. The method works great, and the bugs are not laying around their camp in the corners, making it almost impossible to keep some from getting inside when dogs come It does not work with fog, however. There is a peppery smell to this wide angel spray that quickly dissipates. The spray is so heavy and does not mist or fog that I have to end up wiping it off the glasses.
It takes a few seconds before they are killed. Since this stuff is natural, I don't get bothered by it like the toxic chemicals do. Chemical spray stinks so badly and makes me very ill, but this stuff is completely harmless to me. In addition, the price is another positive. And there isn't much you have to do to get.
What a great idea - thanks for sharing! To keep mosquitoes and gnats away, I hang it between the ivy surrounding my front porch and on the porch itself. I like the way it smells. There is only one complaint it can be a little slippery if it gets on bricks (like my porch floor). There is probably a lemon oil component in it, so that probably explains why it smells like that. I like it because it is easy to use, and smells good as well I can't think of anything better!.
Great for a pond or a wetland. There is a very strong smell to it. The kind of strength that is so strong. Prior to dining outside I sprayed a little around the patio. Then I wondered if we were going to eat outside. Using lemongrass, mint, and essential oils to repel bigs makes for a strong scent. It's not a bad chemical smell, but it's a bit overpowering at first. Spray a bit on the floor before using for a few minutes. Our backyard is near a wetlands and this prevents mosquitoes from proliferating near there. I use it in the area adjacent to that as a mosquito control before gatherings or events. Gone are the days when I had to spray other brands around my little ones.
Keeping pets at home is a good idea. )
Works well against gnats, flies, and misquitoes. It seems that demand outstrips supply and the price has nearly quadrupled since buying it for five dollars. I was going to buy more but now it's almost doubled and I was going to buy more. In January 2021, Amazon will be listed at number 66.
