the basket is sturdy enough, it seems to wiggle a little from the extensions that touch the bucket rims when it is sitting on them. It is a little difficult, however, if I'm pressing honey or wax to drain the honey if the basket moves back and forth just enough to create a little difficulty. Furthermore, the edges around the rim of the round bowl are extremely wiped my finger around the edge quickly to get rid of a honey drip and in the process cut my finger off. There was no way a cut so clean could have been done, until it bled into everything. Hence, be on the lookout for In the end, it did what it was supposed to do (strain, not cut).
As a first attempt, I would like to say that this worked great. It was nice to know it could be washed in the dishwasher. The two pieces came in handy when I was straining extra honey and washing wax cap cappings in the same time.
With this item, you can save money and get a great product that works just as intended.
It took a little more time than expected, but the savings made up for.
I use it for honey and beer making year round. It leaves a clean product.
It was great to use this product! We were able to remove all debris from our honey with it. I am delighted with the way the double stain came out.
The purchase we made has been a satisfactory one.
Trying to find bee parts in honey jars filled with wax cappings, bee queens, and uncountable bees has taken years. It is worth noting that after straining my honey with this dual mesh system, there is not a single dead bee! Our honey includes no bee feet at all. We have looked carefully but do not even find tiny bees' feet.
