Several months ago I received this set for my birthday, and last night I finally had the chance to use it! As far as the uncapping fork and strainer set are concerned, they are both doing well, but the gasket on the honeygate is not doing much work. While the gate seals exceptionally well to the bucket (as described in the previous paragraph, when we noticed the honey puddle on the floor, we initially assumed it was an error on our part), the gate itself is leaking pretty rapidly, one drop every 10 minutes or so. Throughout the day, you've added up to quite a bit of time, as you can see from the graph. The gate has not been opened since I filled the bucket with water, and I have screwed the wingnut as tightly as I can, but there is some leakage around the hook and screw If you want to catch your honey with this set, these are the best for the price.
It was well worth the price. In my opinion, it's of comparable quality to the same strainer and other equipment I bought from a bee supply shop. The purchase I made is what I was looking for.
In order to capture the frames, the frame grabber was necessary. In addition to the strainer, the other equipment was needed. It was the perfect kit for those starting out in beekeeping. With these tools, we were able to extract honey for the first time.
This is primarily a strainer that I got from it, but it's built well.
I have no problems with the two frame extractor, but i have a problem with the nine frame extractor. As a result, we will make a good profit.
I harvested my first honey this year and it worked out very well.
The equipment is very sturdy and is a great product.
I bought this item for my husband and he was pleased with it.
