Questions & Answers

What is the fit of this lid with the PGV ?

The answer is yes

How many springs are included with the assembly?

To use this spring, you will already have one from the valve.

Is it likely that it will repair the water leaking through the There is a leak in the head when the system is shut, as it appears that water continues to flow. ?

A sprinkler head fix can be used in the event that all the heads on the same line leak. Sprinkler solenoids control this part, which is used to control the valves that control the sprinkler runs. When you see a leak in a sprinkler, check to see if it is coming from the head. There might be a problem with the cable. It is possible that the sprinkler needs to be replaced if it is old.

What did people get? Did they receive exactly what is pictured with Hunter Doc, or did they just get a plastic bag with the Diaphragm in it? The brown plastic bag that mine came in was very sturdy. ?

As well as purchasing the diaphragm (brown plastic bag), I ordered the assembly too, just in case, but didn't need it. A new diameter is needed to replace the damaged one

Oh my God! Let the plumber do his job! My Hunter valves that control the outdoor watering are equipped with these diaphragms original to the valve
5/5

The water did not completely shut off after I turned it off. We were getting serious about it. It was impossible to find any obvious problem within the water box when I opened the top of the valves. Somewhere in my Google search for "what the heck" I read a review that mentioned the diaphragms. Amazon also had the valves' part number I found a manual for them on line and searched for the part number on Google. It took ten minutes for the leak to be stopped. Take a spare with you!.

Repair was simple and fixed the I just wanted to let you know that Hunter 33 - $5 can be obtained from Home Depot by ordering item 2100
5/5

The white ring on this diaphragm has not arrived with this diaphragm, according to some consumers. It was not a problem to take the ring of the old diaphragm, clean it, and reuse it. To me, the ring does not look like it's an item to wear, so there's no doubt that it wouldn't come with a.

This OEM repair part aids in extending the life of each valve without the need to remove it
5/5

A replacement OEM part that doesn't need to be modified. Assuming the solenoid does not fail, the life of the valve should be considerably extended. If the diaphragm is not centered properly, the nub attached to the outer diameter must be seated into the recess designed to capture the nub and hold it in place on the valve body. Although it is not difficult, you should keep an eye on the valve box and possibly use a flashlight to make sure you can see properly before you reinstall.

There is no similarity between what is pictured and what the product actually looks like
3/5

Do you not like the way it looks? A photo of the original and a copy of the replacement is shown on the left. You can see that they have very different features. What are the chances of the replacement working?.

This valve Diaphragm can be purchased for $4 at Home Depot
3/5

Exactly what I expected, but I just found out I get them for $4 instead. I found it at the local Home Depot for 87 cents. It's less than half the price of the ones at Home Depot, so find your local sources first. Besides, I fixed the leak today with the ones I bought from Almost twice as fast.

After 6 years of use, the old one failed, so I replaced it with a new one, and it has been working perfect since.

This tool did exactly what it was advertised to do
5/5

We bought two of these in order to try to fix leaking valves and they worked like a charm. Some of you may want to keep it simple and just replace the valve, but for those who are more inclined to disassemble things, there are replacement valves available online for less than $20. If you feel up to replacing the whole valve, go for it, but these are extremely The 4 screws need to be removed and it's ready to go. Make sure to clean out any gunk, and you should be good to go.
