This thermostatically controlled device is working as it should. It keeps the engine temperature on my 35KW generator set between 120F and 145F. This heater hose kit is easy to install and includes quality heater hoses.
I had to install a temperature switch in the power cord to be able to further control when it comes on and when it Since it must be turned on at 50F and off at 60F, I have limited its operation to this temperature range. If it were broadcast during the summer, it would be on. You will never know the operating temperature (on/off) range of the device from the manufacturer.
