Is the threading on the stabilizers as well?

Threading is not used on stabilizers. About one inch from the flat end, there is a grove. The stabilizers are supposed to be held in place by a set screw that extends into the grove.

"Bale hay spike with hex nut," according to the product description. Is the sleeve included in this?

Sleeves, according to my husband, had already been built into the framework.

the hay spear's carrying capacity I had a 3000 hay spear, but it bent into a c shape when I used it

The weight of the round bale turned out to be 900 pounds. br>I bought a 4000 hay spear from the same people that works great and cost around $96.
