Handles that can be removed

These handles make my trailer gate a lot easier to use. The handle is, however, screwed to the shaft on this particular brand. I didn't realize this until a handle vibrated off on the road and was lost, so I unscrewed both handles and used Locktite red on both threads when I received the replacement. There's no longer any issue. Other brands I've seen in stores have handles and shafts that are either one piece or welded together. The ability to unscrew the handle could be beneficial or detrimental, but I was not aware of this "feature. ".

I bought these with the intention of using them as a replacement pin. They perform admirably, and I appreciate the fact that they are magnetic. I'd dropped the key in tall grass and had to use the magnetic pin to find it.

I was unsure about relying solely on the magnet to keep the pin in place. It has a locking pin hole, but I no longer use it because the magnet holds it in place.
