I'm glad I did my research on the quick hitch system and read and listened to reviews. For a good tight fit quick hitch to 3 pt implement, many people suggested these. Most 3 point implements for regular tractors have smaller pins than the 1" quick hitch lugs, which when combined with your existing implement pins create a perfect no rattle quick hitch fit.
It's not about whether you like it or not; it's about what you'll need when you buy a Harbor Freight Quick Hitch! Make sure the lock key (included) goes in straight and doesn't hit your fingers when hammering it in. lol.
A grinder is required. There were no bevels on the roll pins. I couldn't get it into the bushing because I couldn't hammer it in. They needed a bevel, which I had to grind in. I've never seen a roll pin without a beveled edge. Aside from that, they're functional. Most people do not have access to vises and grinders, which are required to modify brand new items.
This was exactly what I needed to replace my Cat1 attachments with a quick hitch. It fits perfectly, the pins are hammered in, and you're ready to go. There are no complaints about the snug fit.
The items are identical to those sold by John Deere. I was unable to distinguish the two. It was an excellent solution. I'm looking forward to putting them to use.
These adapters for quick hitch pins are fantastic. They cost half as much as those at my local farm and ranch store. Simply side them on and tap the pin into place was all that was required.
These fit perfectly, are simple to put on, and will not come off unless you take them off on purpose.
These are nice, but use caution when driving the roll pins in. It is strongly advised to wear safety glasses and gloves. These items have the potential to become dangerous shrapnel.
