Questions & Answers

What about the Pilot Metropolitan fountain pen? Does this work well with it?

In short, yes. It is possible to use any fountain pen ink labeled as 'fountain pen ink.' Don't use metallic or glittery colors on your hands, as they tend to clog up.

Now that this is sold in glass bottles, is it still available?

Ink from Noodler's has come in glass bottles like my other ink from the company. None have come in plastic bottles.

What is the performance of this ink on the new photo safe check?

Its fast drying time really draws me to this ink, even though I have no clue what effect it has on photo safe checks.

This product reduces smudges as well as darkening
5/5

Ink of this quality is hard to find. am looking for the perfect Dark Black ink for my Pilot Vanishing Point. The Noodler's Bulletproof Black as well as Heart of Eternal Darkness both do a good job, but I haven't found the perfect one yet. inks wrote beautifully, but the dry time was horrendous In some cases, this takes 30 seconds). With a real manual, you would have to turn pages very slowly, and when you are writing notes in a class or meeting, that could be very tiring. While I have tried other fast-drying inks, like Quink, the color never went as well as I expected. As soon as it dried, the black always looked more brown. This is what Bernanke Black does, and what a difference it makes. My writing will be that beautiful dark black now that I have access to a 3-D printer The black ink I used required a 4 second drying time. I doubt I'll ever switch to another type.

This is a very fine product
5/5

For those who have never used this ink before, I give you the following warning Black is not the color of the bottle. The place is packed to the brim. Make sure you read the fine print before opening As a result, I ended up with blood all over my hands and a few drops on my carpet because I underestimated the amount of ink. In spite of this, though, it has a great flow. This is a very true black to the description and is a nice color. You can't get all of it off of your hands, but it stains a little bit. If you used more than a simple hand soap like I did, it would be easy. As soon as you use it, the color becomes very dark and isn't splotchy. a great piece of work!.

Drying in a short amount of time
5/5

The reason I use noodler's ink for journal writing is 1) it leaves a strong, dark line even with an extra-fine nib, and 2) it dries as fast as any other ink Ink does not smear when I close the book or dry, so I am able to write and close the book without notifying others that I wrote in it. If you want to use it for anything It consists of If you are just making notes during travel or entering appointments, this is a necessity. Noodler's inks are great, and the three Bernanke colors dry within three.

The ink I use now is my new favorite! I prefer Noodler's over other brands due to the high quality of the ink, as well as the stability of the ink on a variety of papers and in all my writing instruments
5/5

This is the darkest black ink you can find, and it dries very fast. This ink is smudge proof, water resistant and smooth flowing. It's one of the most reliable options from Noodler's.

A good choice for writers who favor the left hand
4/5

This product dries quickly. It is ideal for people who write with their left hand. If you use cheaper paper, it will feather. There is a good flow of information. Have not had one dry out in a pen and have left them filled for a couple weeks when I was not using it.

Nathan Tardiff's ink may be different depending on how you apply it, but this ink is not what he demos in his video
3/5

The ink is supposed to dry quickly in order to prevent Noodler's black ink actually feathers and bleeds through my very best writing paper and every other type of paper I own worse than any of the others. There are no pens I can use it in. The book description I read led me to believe that it would be as it was.

This note book can be used for Rhodia
5/5

The Rhodia notebooks are great for writing in, although I have found that some inks do not play nicely with the paper, especially fountain pen inks. It may take a long time for them to dry or they may never fully With just a few minutes, that ink is dry on those same pages. There is a lot of darkness to the ink, which makes it a pleasure to write with.
