You can write with this ink on almost A napkin served as a writing surface for me. I can get away with using cheap paper for this. When I write with my pilot metropolitan, the ink tends to be a little dry, so the ink leaves a lighter trail. I find it a huge plus that there is no breakthrough and there is almost no ghosting, since it is dry for me. Though, I would have preferred if it was a bit darker. My review says
