No, ink does not dry fast enough, it flows smoothly but does not dry well!
These have been used by me for a couple years and have never caused me any issues. There have been times when they leaked or smeared. Their presence makes me happy.
Jetstream has not been used by me so I cannot comment. The uni ball sign, on the other hand, is bold while the acro ball is fine and writes really smoothly. The acroball will probably not be to your taste if you prefer medium or bold point, but if you like fine point they are likely to be very pleasant to use.

The barrel is thicker than most, but not so thick that it makes holding it difficult. All of them are black ink I love it.
