Tombow 68626 MONO Original Correction Tape, 4-Pack. Easy to Use Applicator for Instant Corrections

When a product isn't up to par, I try to stay away from writing anything negative, but here I am, offering my first criticism. I have to warn people to stay away from this product because it is SO BAD. It's a complete squander of resources. It's ineffective, to put it bluntly. My apologies to the Universe for adding toxic statements to an already bleak world, and I pledge to do my best to only write positive reviews unless the bad is so bad that I have no choice but to save my fellow buyers from making a terrible mistake.

This is by far the best tape I've ever used. As a truck driver, I work in a high-vibration environment, so the first one I tried was Bic, which was awful. I could only use it a few times before it unwound and became unusable. I began by purchasing a cheap one from Big Lots, and while I was able to tighten it up on occasion, it applied poorly, and I was never able to use one completely. I purchased the tombow to give it a try, and it has proven to be effective thus far. Tombow goes on smoothly and works well; I haven't had any issues with it unwinding or loosening, but as you can see in the photo, I used some foam to secure it in my clipboard so it doesn't rattle around too much. Negative feedback, on the other hand - I'm not sure why it's the top negative review; it simply says "bad, bad, bad" with no explanation. I also attribute the other ones to speed; if there is a flaw with the Tombow, it is that you should go slower and be more precise; if you want quick and bold, Liquid paper is the way to go.

Simply purchase a higher-quality correction tape and you're good to go. br>In my company, we've been using correction tape for years, almost always until the wheel wears out. These aren't among them. The plastic "ribbon" would frequently come undone during its brief existence. We'd have to put everything on hold to realign the track, which would require us to stop what we were doing. The tape would not properly break at the end of a line of use, leaving about 1/8" inch of tape on the reel - It's not a big deal unless you accidentally cover something and have to scrape it off. The ribbon broke less than halfway through the reel on three of the four units in the package, rendering the product completely useless. We tried manually extracting the amount we needed and cutting it off - but it didn't work out. It's a lot of work, and the tape sticks to your skin and scissors. br>I always tell my customers that if they have to buy something twice, they aren't saving anything, and this was a good reminder.

I'd previously purchased Tombow products and been pleased with them, so I decided to give their mono tape a try. It works well as long as you keep the correct angle — as instructed — while using it. I've been using it on a daily basis for almost a week now, and I haven't had any issues with the tape coming off the track like some other reviewers have. I can see it coming off the track if I press too hard or draw it out too quickly, but I've been very careful with it. br>br>Minimal corrections are difficult to make, but they can be done. When I do that, I usually use a gel pen. While writing on correction tape is easier than writing on liquid, the results are not identical to writing on paper. Even so, it appears to be preferable to the errors. Overall, I prefer this to correction liquid because it doesn't require any shaking, drying time, or a bumpy surface. br>br>Now all I need are some off-white or cream-colored correction tapes to blend in a little better in journals.

I've experimented with less expensive options - I'm not sure why, though. Because of Tombow's superior quality, I always come back to them. Is it possible to save some money - yes. Is there a chance that the lower-valued item will fall apart? Streak? Is it driving you insane? You bet. Some men have even claimed that they were designed as a torture device and that only women are allowed to use them. Tombow, on the other hand, produces the best white out. It's comfortable to hold and feels very natural in the hand. The white out grabs the paper and glides across it smoothly, adhering to the ink or print to cover it. There aren't any small pieces that don't stick together. There are no streaks to clean up (which rarely works without causing a mess). The product is one that I strongly recommend.

I have Amazon Prime, so I purchased the item when it was on sale, and it arrived the next day. (I ordered a couple of other Prime items on the same day as the correction tape, but they have yet to arrive. )br>br>I've had the Tomobow Correction Tape before (clear case) and used it until it ran out, it's probably one of the best correction tapes out there compared to the Bic ones we have here. It's extremely smooth and thin, and there's no waiting time, so you can use it right away - br>br> After it has been placed, immediately begin writing on it. br>br>Once I've used up this 4-pack, I'll buy more. pack!.

I'm not sure why this correction tape was such a big deal. This tombow correction tape is an absolute disaster! Even though I used light pressure, the tape kept splitting up as I rolled it. Then, when I covered it with washi tape but needed to remove it to reposition it, the damn tape peeled up with the washi tape! It's VERY ANNOYING! I'll be using my Bic correction tape again. Once you've figured out how to roll Tombow tape without it splitting, it's a breeze to use. That's a tough one.

This product has left me extremely dissatisfied - The tape gets stuck about half of the time, which is inconvenient. Untangling takes a long time. Despite its low price, I would not recommend this Tombow Correction Tape. It's even less expensive to build. I'm going back to BIC Liquid White Out because you'll waste more time fixing the tape than you will using this subpar product.
