I bought this instead of the liquid brush on type because I thought it would be more convenient to use and write on. It is when it performs as expected. Unfortunately, unless you apply it with extreme caution, it will end up making a bigger mess than the liquid type. br>br>While writing on the liquid type can be difficult, it is simple to apply. This correction tape, on the other hand, is simple to write on but difficult to apply. The procedure should be straightforward in theory, but this does not always happen. Despite following the directions, I discover that the correction tape doesn't apply flatly to the surface at least 10 of the time. Sometimes it goes wrong at the start, and sometimes it goes wrong at the end. I have to scrape off the tape and start over if either of these things happens. br>br>The bottom line is that this product has the potential to perform admirably, but it fails frequently enough to be just as frustrating as using a traditional brush on liquid.
When stores ran out of this, I had to snag a few of PaperMate's competitor correction dryline tape products, so I tested at least three others and found them to be lacking. They're either inconvenient, or they're harmful to your health. Unwind in a consistent, intuitive, or both manner. If (rarely) you need to haul in slack, PaperMate's DryLine Tape's design and quality construction/structure make it simple. The ease of reeling in slack and applying the tape, as well as not having to wonder which way to hold it, elevate this product (and makes using the others incredibly frustrating!).
The name of the company is I use this product on a regular basis and will never switch to another brand.
Because I write a lot, I'm always on the lookout for a good correction tape. This one is great because it has a wide applicator that covers well, and the tape itself isn't as thick as some of the others I've tried but still provides adequate coverage. The tape is not prone to tearing or chipping. br>br>The swiveling applicator piqued my interest because it meant I could use it to erase pen drawings as well. However, it isn't as practical as I had hoped. The dispenser itself is nice, with a soft pad on top and an overall ergonomic design. br>br>It doesn't turn very smoothly for me, but maybe that's just something I need to practice with. br>br> The bright green color is also a favorite of mine. Another useful feature is the ease with which the tape can be wound. I didn't have to use it on this one, but I did on the one before it when the tape came loose. It was impossible to turn the other one. With a short fingernail, you can spin this one.
I bought this because I enjoy writing and need to cover up mistakes from time to time. Both of the ones I got were fantastic. When medium pressure is applied, it works best. If you press the tape too lightly, it will come out with a few pieces missing. If you squish it too hard, it will clump. When used correctly, it performs admirably. br>br>When writing on it, I found that writing lightly on it helped prevent the tape from tearing. I tried writing over it with black ink, and the tape held up under the pressure of my pen. It was also very noticeable, and I was able to read what I had written with ease. There were no problems here that I discovered. br>br>The applicator's style is one of my favorites. It has a soft grip pad on top and is very sleek in appearance. In comparison to other correction tapes I've used, this is one of the best, with a bright green color that stands out (which should help with my tendency to lose things). The swiveling applicator is also one of my favorites; the tape is simple to use and turn as needed. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this product again.
This is the third type I've tried, and it's fantastic. The tape adheres well to the paper and does not lift off, move around, or become loose while in use. When working in a small space, it's also simple to place the tape accurately. If necessary, you can write directly on the tape. br>They are costly, but well worth the investment -.
This is far superior to previous experiences I've had; I prefer this flat applicator to the sideways ones, which are notorious for causing problems. When I run out, I'll place another order.
It did not appeal to me in the least! I won't be buying anything else. Trying to use it is extremely frustrating.
