In my Hobonichi books, these correction tapes come in handy. They are a perfect match for the paper's color. I had been looking for these for quite some time, and this pack provided a substantial amount for a reasonable price.
They're an ivory/cream color rather than a bright white, which is exactly what I wanted! Although they appear to be a little pricey, each of these dispensers contains a substantial amount of material. They're also quite large (larger than traditional white-out tape dispensers), making them easier to carry but also bulkier, so keep that in mind if you plan on carrying them around.
As is my custom, I read the 1-page summary before purchasing. star reviews, with some 5 and 4 star reviews thrown in for good measure. Because I couldn't find any other beige correction tape, I decided to try it. I'm glad I took the opportunity to do so. Here's why I gave it a five-star rating: First and foremost, there is a LOT of tape on it. This was used in conjunction with a white correction tape. I used this one more than the white, but the white has already run out and this one still has two-thirds of its supply. Only two pieces of white tape were included in the package, which cost $6. This one is right around $14, and it comes with FOUR of these monsters. It was because of this that it was upgraded from 4 to 5 stars. It's a fantastic value. Second, it has a couple of tape quirks, but nothing I couldn't work around, and it has a way to advance and retract the tape (though that, too, is a little quirky, but it's easily worked around - I've found that using a pen works best, but I'm considering trying a pin as well). Third, it is immediately 'writable,' adheres well to the paper, and covers the text without requiring a second application (as some do). Overall, it's a fantastic deal, and I'm very pleased with my purchase. (If the extra units go bad before I can use them, I'll change my review, but for now, I'm happy. ).
I found it (Beechmore Books A4) and it wasn't until I got it that I realized I couldn't use white out on the lovely creamy pages. I had my doubts, but hoped that the colored correction tape would work. It exceeded my expectations in every way. It's the same color as my paper and doesn't go as smoothly as I'd like it to. Each one also appears to contain a significant amount of ribbon. I would strongly suggest it.
Overall, I like the product. It's simple to use and matches the color of the pages in my Hobonichi planner better than white-tinted correction tapes or fluids. I do have one suggestion for the manufacturer, however: Please reduce the size of this item so that it can be carried in a slim pencil case. Because of the item's size, the delivery system you selected requires that I leave it at home.
For my hobonichi weeks, I'm so glad I discovered cream colored correction tape. You will not believe the size of these dispensers! I'm not going to run out of anything. Ps- When I use these things, I'm usually a shambles. This one applies smoothly every time, and the tip has a cute cap. I strongly advise you to do so.
These are what I use in my bullet journal, which is made of buff colored paper. They're the perfect color match and incredibly simple to work with. However, I believe that this is a once-in-a-lifetime supply. Excellent value for money!.
For the hobonichi weeks, this is ideal.
