Questions & Answers
Is it going to be the shells or the eggs that you're going to mark? I don't think the wax will be an issue if you eat the shells.
If your laminate is non-porous, it should easily rub off; test it in a corner to be sure.
They're made of wax, so I expect they'll be moisture resistant, but they'll melt or run at high temperatures.
They should work well for marking glass, though they aren't guaranteed to be permanent. Because you can rub the marks off when you're done, they'd be ideal for marking glass to cut.

One of the reasons I chose this product over others is that the picture (at the time of writing) shows the markers with a protective cap. This seemed like a great feature to have for when I tossed these into my pack, as it would prevent the other items in the pack from being marked up by accident. Unfortunately, the cap is no longer included.
There are no caps on mine. This is a bummer because I wanted to keep these in my purse, but now I won't be able to.
Because several photos clearly showed caps, I went with these. It's extremely aggravating that an increasing number of product images on Amazon are false. How difficult is it to get rid of the fake photos? That's all there is to it. The markers do what they're supposed to do. If it weren't for the fact that it was only $2 and I had the energy, I would return just to prove a point about the false advertising. However, I'm sure that's precisely what these sellers hope for.
The package arrived in good condition, but there were no caps as shown in the photo.
Great price, but it doesn't write on plastic containers as well as other china markers I've used in the past (for my freezer). Other brands seemed softer/stickier; this one requires a lot of pressure to label containers, and it doesn't work at all when the surface is cold. It's possible that it'll be more useful in other situations.
The pictures, like others have said, were completely deceptive. I assumed these were pens of some kind with solid thin cutting lines because of the caps, but when I got them, I discovered they were the same markers I had purchased from Homedepot and discarded. They'll be thrown away as well.
When writing with them, the yellow and red barely show up.
They're great for leftovers from Kerr/Mason jars and casseroles; it's easy to forget how long we've had them. br>They work on waxy surfaces where pens don't always work.
