I'm not sure about watercolor paper, but I know how easily it rubs off on glass, fabric, and plastic. If the surface is wet, it will not mark until it is completely dry. That may be of assistance in answering your question.
A search on Amazon for "Listo Pencil Refills" will turn up listings for each of the eight colors available. You'll also find combo listings for items like marking pencils and other supplies.

These marking pencils are one of my favorites and I use them on a regular basis. I first purchased a box of the assorted colors to use directly on the sides of my plastic garden nursery pots so that I wouldn't have to stop and make plant tags every time I repotted. In this case, I use a white or yellow tpencil. br>It turns out that with all the different colors, I can use the darker ones to date and identify jars or containers of food in the kitchen. They'll write on glass, rigid plastic tops, or metal, which I use a lot in the refrigerator, freezer, and pantry. br>Because the writing points on these are not sharp, but rather dull, the writing comes out thick and untidy, but it is readable and oh so convenient and inexpensive. br>So why use these instead of markers? Because it's simple to rub it off with a cloth, then toss it in the dishwasher or handwash it and reuse it. There are no labels or tape to apply and then remove. Unless you rub it off, the data will remain on the surface.
For many years, I've worked with grease pencils. These are, without a doubt, the best. If you purchase a large refill pack, make sure to keep it refrigerated. This will prevent the replacement lead from clogging the pencils in the long run.
They're also useful for highlighting important sections in my other books. They don't bleed through the paper, either.
Finding a non-sharpie marker that can mark wood or metal and won't break at a critical point is essential in the construction industry. On a cold, windy day, standing on a ladder with a tape measure in one hand and someone else holding the other, finally having the exact spot to mark only to have your pencil break as you make the mark is a real pain. These pencils work well and leave a dark mark on wood or metal.
These were purchased for the purpose of labeling breast milk bottles for pumping, storing, and feeding. I'M SO THANKFUL I DID IT. These are much better than the paper-wrapped grease pencils in terms of cleanliness and ease of use. If she didn't finish it, I can scribble the time on the outside of the bottle, so no more "I wonder how long this bottle has been sitting out. " " I also appreciate the inclusion of a short clip. I clip it to the side of my Medela Advanced Pump in Style so that I can quickly label each bottle with a date and time without it becoming messy or strewn about. I chose white rather than black because it would leave a smaller stain if it rubbed off on clothing or other surfaces. These Listo pencils, on the other hand, aren't particularly greasy, and the writing stays put until I wipe it away with a dish sponge. It was possibly the best baby-parenting idea I've ever had!.
When I opened the pencil and saw that the led was only an inch long, I was a little disappointed. It compel you to purchase refills as soon as possible! What the hell is going on?.
I am a member of the Rose Society, which looks after the city's rose garden. We have a lot of potted roses, and the labels get lost from time to time, so writing the name of the rose on the pot is a lot easier and much better. Cleanser will remove the writing from the pot if it is to be reused. There are a lot of pencils to go around.
