Yes, but it'd be extremely difficult to remove. Smooth surfaces, such as glass, are ideal for using a grease pencil. Mine sits on top of my Rhinolin desk, saves on scratch paper, and is erased with a tissue.

It will write on glass, ceramics, and other porous surfaces; however, if you try to paint OVER it, it will act as a resist, and your paint will most likely not stick to the pencil marks because it is an oily substance.
Markings from grease pencils can be removed from non-stick surfaces. With a magic eraser pad, you can easily erase textured surfaces, and lightly textured surfaces are no problem. The paper wrapping on these China markers, on the other hand, is a pain. Listo Marking Pencil is a better option.

I bought this set of grease pencils to use for writing plant names on plastic plant markers that I use to separate herbs and tomato plants in my container gardens. Because my plastic plant markers were bright blue, I wrote on them with a black grease pencil. The pencil was extremely effective and stood out against the blue background. The words were not washed away by rain or water, nor did they fade. It performed admirably, and I was extremely pleased with it. br>br>In the end, I decided to use the white grease pencil to hang artwork in my home. When you're hanging things by yourself, it can be difficult to keep them straight. Drawing small marks on the wall to save where you have determined the artwork edges should go can help keep artwork straight. Unfortunately, scribbling such notes on the wall with a pen or pencil can irritate landlords and cost you money from your security deposit when you move out. The white grease pencil, on the other hand, allowed me to make the useful marks while keeping my apartment walls looking nice, as the marks are barely visible unless you look very closely; it's a great product for that purpose.
These are excellent for a wide range of applications. For plant labels, I primarily use black. They write on anything and everything. The leads are thick and stick well to the surface. However, using white scrubber sponges, it is also simple to remove. When it comes to labeling dark surfaces, the white grease pen is ideal.
These are what I use to keep track of high-value items that need to be maintained. vehicle at the end When working on my own vehicles, I keep a torque stripe, a date of service, a torque spec, and other maintenance notes. Arrived in good condition, and the product appears to do exactly what I need it to.
" It's all right. When the tip wears down, I have a lot of difficulty peeling the paper. In fact, I've resorted to cutting the paper with a box cutter. The paper peel appears to be glued to its own surface. The china marker, on the other hand, works well for labeling glass jars and silicone or plastic lids. To remove the markings on the lids, I simply use a small amount of olive oil or whatever cooking oil I have on hand and leave it on the marking for about an hour, or even less if I'm in a hurry to reuse the lid. With a paper towel or a napkin, the mark can be easily removed.
I bought a white/black combo pack, so one of the colors will inevitably show up on whatever we're trying to write on. Doesn't write on everything, but he does write on the majority of it! Cleaning up is a breeze, though I did have some issues with the textured lids on my glass containers. Only about 90% of the people were able to get away. However, I don't think it's a big deal. That spot may change color over time, and we can then switch to the opposite color.
This type of pencil had been seen being used to pick up rhinestones, which is why I bought it. For that purpose, it is ideal. I have yet to put it to use for writing.
These pencils were excellent at writing on plastic and glass.
My husband searched for a pencil for a long time to mark his polished rocks.
