These are wax crayons, similar to Crayola crayons but softer (hence the nickname "Grease Pencils," as the lead feels greasy when compared to a drawing crayon). They will not write on wet paper (or any porous/absorbent surface), and they will be semi-absorbent on any porous/absorbent surface. It would most likely tear through damp paper (permanent/not erasable/leave a stain). If the plastic is dry, it will leave a mark on it (or any other hard smooth surface such as ceramic tile, glass, etc.). With a clean cloth or paper towel/napkin, wipe the wax clean/erased from the plastic/hard smooth surface (generally easier to remove at room temperature or warmer; super cold or frozen will flake- When you rub it, it comes off pretty well).
They're printed on a laminated sheet of paper and are wipeable. We've received instructions for preparing our vehicle to be towed, and we've gone over them thoroughly. The checks will then be removed with a paper towel. If that proves to be too difficult, a white board spray can be used instead.
Yes, grease pencils can be used on wood in most cases.
They wouldn't work on hair, in my opinion.

These are not intended to be used to label food containers. Grease pencils, which are similar to this but more like a refillable mechanical pencil, were what I used to mark leftovers when I was a kid. When I worked in a restaurant, I used a similar product to label food boxes. I bought these to write on my mason jars, but they don't write very well. It's necessary to apply a lot of force, and it occasionally fails. It's best to use a sharpie or a dry erase marker. I would not purchase this product again - I'd rather look for a different product I used as a kid because this isn't it.
It is not possible to return the item, so proceed with caution. Update: Unfortunately, I purchased two products from the same vendor, and when the second one arrived, the pencils did not work; nothing came out of it, and there was no color (see video).
I used tracing paper and Diamond Peel-Offs to create this project. To obtain headstone rubbings/tracings, use off China Markers/Grease Pencils. The grease pencils were a complete success. The etchings came out beautifully, and when I got home, I showed them to my family. From now on, I'm only going to use these grease markers. For any purpose, this is a must-have!.
There isn't a whole lot to say. They carry out their duties to the best of their abilities. Almost any surface can be written on without smudging. They're being used to write on wood and for other projects. A regular pencil wasn't dark enough for me, and a marker dried out too quickly. br>br>These will most likely be used for food storage as well. This way, I'll be able to write the expiration date in large print, ensuring that my family uses the oldest product first (hopefully).
On glass and plastic, these outperform permanent markers. The best part is that the marks can be removed from your containers with a damp cloth. This product has exceeded my expectations!.
These were purchased to label the glass bottles in which I store dish and hand soap. The wax clumped together, easily wiped away, and was difficult to read. I experimented with various pencil pressures. Even when I was able to get the words to appear clearly, the wax easily wiped away, defeating the purpose of what I needed. Oh well. It also didn't work on the silicone sleeve.
I . These don't work all that well. I bought them to write on my mason jars, but they're not up to the task. I'm having trouble getting my writing to appear. I rarely give a product a one-star rating, but in this case, I had no choice. I wouldn't buy these again if I could.
At one of my previous jobs, I had used a wax pencil. It worked perfectly on laminated maps there. For our RV and towing procedures, we created a checklist. It is very effective. It provides you with a multi-purpose document and a checklist that is easier to follow. We wipe it clean after we've hit the road; it's a great time saver!.
