This can be used in any way you like. Making a pencil case with it is my favorite use for it. I really like what you've written!
Without a doubt. For me, it's been useful for repairing and protecting hardcover books with their edges. I love how it works. The quality of the product is excellent.
Because it has cloth thread in it, I would think it would work okay.
Although this tape is strong, I have only used it in books, so I am not sure how well it will hold up for belt sanding. As well as the location of the repair, it depends on how long it takes. I am not a fan of how expensive this tape is. What if there were a different tape that could help you? While I apologize for not being able to provide a better answer, I hope the following helped in some way.

The bookbinding tape mentioned above is not the right one. Gaffer's tape is all that is needed here. This type of tape is typically used in the film industry, is intended to be temporary and does not stick to surfaces for a long period. Do not use this for your bookbinding projects as it will peel off over time. The photo is taken from a project of mine.
In order to bind my books, I bought this item. Since I have plenty of experience with tapes, I believe this one has the best performance so far. I purchased it only last week, so I am not sure how well it will stick, but so far it has lasted a week and looks I used Pro Gaffer tape, which didn't properly stick until a day after I used it. In comparison to other brands, I would definitely take this tape. I have added an update I used the tape over a year and a half ago and it still adheres On the other hand, the tape does not stick as well to some of the edges of the books I've bound. *Update #2 I would still say that it sticks better than other tapes I have used in the past. I noticed the tape is now starting to come off after almost a year, but I'm not sure when it'll be completely gone. I found it rather interesting that this tape did leave a lot of residue when it came off, just like most tapes do. It will be a lot easier to replace the old tape this way.
Due to the narrow spine I needed to create, I ordered one inch black bookbinding tape. Possibly, I'll order a wider size for another project in the future. Since the tape is thin, like masking tape, and not bulky, like duct tape, it is incredibly flexible. A spine in need of repair could also benefit from this treatment. Due to its weave, the tape is unlikely to tear easily. Tape is recommended for repairs on books and for bookbinders at the beginning of their careers. Considering the length of the roll, it goes for an affordable price.
covers, which are canvas panels, and it worked just fine. This is the tape I have been searching for quite a while, as I have been looking for high quality tape in a strong material. It's easy to use and has a strong and neat adhesive as you can see from the photos. For its high quality, I would give it five stars, but on the other hand, it is a little too pricey for a 15 yard roll therefore, I took one star off. have found that this tape works great for repairing all types of books, including those with hard covers. This is an excellent product for anyone who is looking for a strong, durable and high quality tape to use on their book binding project.
It seems to be a sturdy product. The message is well suited to the situation. Until a few years from now, I won't be able to comment on durability. It's been a few days since I ordered the black tape so I haven't opened it The tape I used to reattach the spine of a novel which had been completely detached and was rather brittle had ben used to reattach a completely detached and rather brittle cover spine. As far as the cover is concerned, it worked well and is quite appropriate.
Repairing WWII vintage 78s records with this program (which looks like a large photo album designed to hold a number of shellac records) was incredibly easy. Color and texture of the tape blend well with the original album bindings. It is flexible and adaptable to the edges of the album spine and is strong enough to hold up to The important thing is that it is acid-free I was hoping for archival quality, so it wouldn't degrade over time. My only recommendation would be to offer a 1/2-inch size for smaller repairs to prevent having to cut the tape. You might want to try a utility knife that works OK but is not particularly convenient.
It was easy to use tape across the spine to reinforce a journal book's integrity. I was able to secure it to a semi-transparent surface using one inch tape. The surface of the book is glossy. Matte in appearance, tightly woven in feel and texture, and extremely adhesive, this tape is ideal for household use. Product is great! I'm very happy with it.
There was a salesperson who made a mistake when separating two corners. This tape was an excellent reinforcement when combined with a small amount of PVA glue on the corners of the corner boards. The look is pretty much the same as Quite pleased with the result.
